Yes, he’s never played AFL. Nobody has. Aussie Rules, on the other hand… many have played that, Oscar included. Was just talking to a dear friend whose grandson started at the Western Jets at the same time Oscar was there and who said there’s every reason to believe Oscar will make it in the AFL.

We have Pride flags, Pink Lady flags, Indigenous flags, Irish flags and more. We wave these flags during the particular matches to which they pertain. We’d need ten times the number of flag-wavers were we to wave them all, along with our many MFC flags, at every match. We have handheld banners and posters bearing players’ names/nicknames which are also plentiful, not to mention giant heads. Goody does want us to be a destination club for indigenous players but he has no say in what we hold up. So, on this occasion you’ll have to find something else on which to blame him. But fear not, there’s no shortage of other things, just 10 minutes on these boards and you’ll find more than enough.

I don’t see Chin as any more melodramatic than other players but clearly you do. But maybe with Chin it’s not contrived, maybe his gesticulation and facial expressions are inherent. FWIW, he’s generally a serious person and his resting face is intense concentration.

You have an unhealthy obsession with Chin and what you see as his faults. You use words like “repulsive” and “imposter” to describe him. Seems rather savage. I’m thinking there’s more to it than a dislike for a certain player. Maybe you know him personally, maybe you have a history with him 🤷‍♀️

Here’s an idea, sounds crazy but hear me out… Let’s give the guy a go. I know, it’s so much easier to write him off before he even arrives at the club, based purely on the fact that he’s coming from a basketball background, but let’s see how he goes.

But surely Harvey’s case is different in that the umpire hit him - accidentally of course - and not the other way around.
