With the season nearly done and some players struggling for form in their current position would it not hurt to trail some players in different positions, even during the game , who knows it could pay off and help win the game. Players i would like to see potentially tried in different positions at different stages are JVR CHB Windsor RR / forward Tholstrup HB / mid Howes. HF Laurie. SF May. FF. During a game if being beaten at FB Langford. CHF Thoughts ? Suggestions?

He doesn't get to enough contests and he doesn't put himself in a position to receive the ball , seems to get stuck in no man's land , he needs to read the play better , link up more with his team mates, be in better position to be able to have an impact. He has to start to hunt the football, want the football , be first to the football, demand the football, he should also be at the drop of the football more than he is especially around goal . He never seems to be in the picture when watching on tv and alot of the time you do see him he is not in a position to be able to have an impact.

Exactly, he is one of 3 blokes we have in the team who is capable of kicking more than one goal a game including melksham . Imagine if fritta is traded and kosi gets injured we would be lucky to kick 5 goals a game. We need to trade in and draft goal kickers

We could trade players to tassie , especially if they have to trade draft picks for players

Really like this guy, already showed he can take solid one grab pack mark and can lay brutal tackles, looks to be a good athlete with strong body that goes hard at the footy .

I like goodie but the one criticism I do have is he never makes positional moves during the game , if it ain't working throw the magnets around every now and then .

I agree , maybe he could teach a few of his teamates because it seems to me like they are not doing enough to protect the ball carrier.

Players who have an ability to be able to break tackles either by brute strength or the good old dont argue as well as the ability to avoid tackles like the quick side step or bualk or the good old selling candy to a baby are imo worth their wait in gold, on the flip side of that players that can't break tackles or an inability to avoid tackels and getting caught with the ball imo are a liability . Breaking tackles often leads to goals, getting caught with ball leads to turnover that leads to goals against. I believe we need to take this into account when we recruit and draft players . On the weekend Although the tackle stats were even, to my eye we were smashed in this area. They broke tackles we didn't, they stuck tackles we didn't. We lacked awareness and was often caught with the pill . Thoughts ?

Why can't we have both , play him up the same end of the ground that is favoured by the wind . Back, forward , back, forward.

About time we took a gippsland lad I was kind of hoping we took the gippsland trio of tauru, Lindsay and mentha , 2 out of three ain't bad We should try and get our hands on more gippsland players like C serong, B humphries , Z duursma, T Papley, J Newcomb

Always had my suspicions around geelong. Never seemed to have salary cap issues , players seemed more than happy to play for alot less then they could of got elsewhere, it did not bother them chasing and getting players already in contract, Always first club to be linked to any potential trades, players that they have traded in have quickly nominated only them. Somehow manage to pay players less than the club they have left. We never seem to kick crumbing goals and the opposition seem to kick alot of crumbing goals against us. We need more players with genuine goal sense, that real goal hungry type of player
