  1. Im sure this has been covered as i havnt read through the thread but imo our players needed to make a stand against that dog voss, stick up for your mate and show that dog you dont do that to a melbourne player, target him, line him up, get in his face, do not forget , everytime he plays us get after him
  2. Is there a way to find players quarter by quarter stats
  3. So far so good in our trade in players this year Jiath, steel and mihocek all played well so big tick for tim lamb so far Also i know its only one game but i admit i am very close to eating humble pie on not only recruiting H Sharp but also playing him rd 1 , i was pleasently surprised with his game and how he stood up and kicked that classy goal when it looked like we were tiring ang going to get run over, it was one of them goals that had you up and yelling, fist pumping .
  4. Roo Max Jiath Kossie Steel
  5. Salem to have a blinder in his 200th , if he does dees win. We seem to win when this man plays well.

Has been a terrific player for our club from the get go , great skills ,balance, never fumbles, involved alot in scoring chains , puts his body on the line, sticks tackles, breaks tackles, one of a few who can hit up a leading forward lace out or pin point a risky 50 m bullet through the corridor, he was the bloke you wanted to have the pill in his hands when your 5 points down or up with a minute left . I would of liked to see him play in the midfield more to maximize his inside 50s and having shots on goal. He stayed loyal to the club and a true melbourne demon. Well done on a great 200 christian.
  9. Judd , oskar, and corey wagner in the same team together is great for any team Playing against them Surely freo are in trouble if these 3 are getting a game But they do have jako i suppose
  10. I know its way to early but i think we might have nailed our recruiting and drafting this year, i think we were extreamly lucky X Taylor slipped through to our first pick he is exactly the type of player we needed and needed now , the only player i can think of on our list who has similar attubutes is steven may and with not only may but also mcdonald likley to retire next year and with ? On adams abilty , hopefully we will be thanking richmond and essendon for leaving him for us also to the GC for the exact pick we needed to get him. We seem to be very light on genuine goal kickers and with melksham also likley to retire next year L Pickett also hopefully fills a much needed need going forward , i like that we then doubled down and added another goalkicking small in matthews. We also lacked speed and all 3 have genuine speed as does another player we got via trade in jiath who by all reports can also lockdown and stop dangerous forwards he also becomes even more handy with bowey injured . Max Heath is another i like and we got him for nothing which makes it even better , another type we really needed to add to the list who is both young and srtong with plenty of upside and with the potential to become our next first ruck . Although im not impressed by not only losing oliver for nothing as well as having to pay him aswell he also left us with a now new hole we nedded to fill in our list with imo a contested ball winning mid short, which is why getting J Steel for nothing made sence , i am a bit concerned stkilda shopped him around to clubs for next to nothing with only us very late taking him , but the fact we got him for nothing and he seems to be doing well in preseason and also fills a need he so far looks like a good pick up. Mihochek i honestly dont rate but he does know where the big sticks are and another free hit as a free agent
  11. So what , say it to his face , usually people that pick on ones inperfections usually have one or two of their own , like i bet u got a real small ... or real big man [censored]
  12. Maybe i cant be fooked mate , not sure why you have to be such a whinging bitcj
  13. Im intrerested to hear from anyone who has seen our new players and what theit thoughts , predictions ect. Of the limited vision ive seen , tayor and jiath look like great pick ups Taylor Pickett Jiath Heath Steele White Berry Onley Mihocek ? Inj Matthews ? Inj
  14. He has been in the 22 week in week out for 5 years, i think he might of been dropped once
  15. Interesting player, after watching him in the vic metro v vic country game he was one of a few who stood out for me, in that game he made a couple of eye catching runs down the middle of the ground , he was also good at shrugging and evading tackles, he also seemed to have a nice burst of speed for his size . It was a surprise to me why he was overlooked in the draft . Looking back at that game one thing i also noticed about him is that i didnt really see him use his height to his advantage ( think Harvey Langford as an example) and maybe the reason he was overlooked . I think onley has the perfect player in Harvey Langford who he can learn alot from.
  16. 3 gippsland players that the MFC have had strong interest in and should still have a strong interest in are B Humphrey A Tauru C Serong
  17. I hope he spends 2026 locked up inside the weights room only to be let out to eat.
  18. As long as he got rinsed responsivly who cares, he deserves a beer or two after winning a GF and being drafted
  19. Played with X Lindsay last year so our scouts would of seen a fair bit of him and liked what they saw from a bottom age player, i would of thought X Lindsay has a high opinion of him and suspect he would of had a similar view with JT of matthews abilities
  20. He was the captain for gippsland power in a team that included the number 1 draft pick Willem Duursma
  21. If they finish 7th or 8th before finals then lose wildcard they will end up 9th or 10th This is up there with one of the worst posts ive seen lately , joking or not, this is imo being disrespectful to both players Sparrow is in our best 23 and about to hit his prime
  22. That F1 pick might end up being a earlier first round pick next year compaired to what we would get in a trade this year. Gold coast will have a much harder draw next year, they only need to have bad luck with injuries, lose more close games than they win, have a bad pre season and that pick could end up P9 or 10 next year
  23. Looks to be sliding already
  24. The only player i could see us trading up to pick 2 for would be CDT 2025 CDT and pickett 2019 Jackson and pickett
  25. I could be wrong but the only pick i would take dovaston at is pick 37 He is not a first round pick small forward
