  1. Glad you asked. I've got two preferred combinations, and I'll list them in order; Preference 1 combo; Smith/Travalia - Pace, drive, tenacity and agility. I see Smith as the perfect accumulator and distributor who will deliver it to our forwards with aplomb and Travaglia a perfect accomplice being a jack Russell in defence running up and down between the arcs providing much needed pressure. Preference 2 combo; Langford/Allen. For all of Langfords silk, skill, grunt and iq you've got Allen's freak athleticism and flare to compliment. Smith and Travalia for me.
  2. Let's get off the fence and state our preferences, perhaps a short explanation as to why. We can muse over a choice but we have to settle on a player for each selection, and it has to be realistic - can't really be going for Lawlor @ 5 and FOS @ 9 etc. Bonus points who's your "unknown" for pick 83?
  3. They could be looking at drafting another key forward and turning JVR into that ruck/forward role but in any sense we've got Jeffo untried and Petty/Turner still developing, plus one hook in Derkson if GWS don't give him flowers. Reckon there's enough speculative talls out there to take a punt on but having the chance at taking two blue chip mids would be negligent to pass up
  4. I planted a rumour on bigfooty yesterday that would serve a purpose for us having more choice of midfielder at pick 5. I know this will have absolutely ZERO effect on absolutely anything and is laughable to think otherwise, but I did my part 😂
  5. I'm a fan of this guys videos tbh he is balanced in his views. In this video he has us with Smith and Allen which would be a dream outcome for us I reckon.
  6. Well they're the only videos 99% of us pundits have access to, and of all the videos available of the current crop, Harry's videos fill me with the least amount of confidence.
  7. I've watched all the videos available on YouTube and he's dropping sitters left right and centre. Check out the Jefferson vs Western Australia video below for a point of reference. Kid looks like a gun compared to Armstrong.
  8. I've watched all his highlights in YouTube to try to get myself hyped in case we do go him.. Obviously in JT I trust... But, this kid has bad hands. He can get himself at the drop of the ball but barely one-grabs it, in fact drops more than he marks (keeping in mind these are highlights). It really doesn't fill me with confidence. Just for a point of reference I rewatched Jeffos highlights. He looks a far superior mark, and based on highlights a far superior package whom is in need of the preseasons he's currently getting to bulk up. I'd rather us find another defender as we have McDonald, May, Salem in their golden years and Rivers moving into the midfield, conversely we've got Jeffo in waiting and making something out of Turner.
  9. I don't have to answer anything from you, if you don't understand how it works I couldn't give a [censored] lol
  10. We'd split it if the player(s) we like would be available at the pick we're trading for and acquire the freebie on top. It's not rocket science. We're not doing a trade for the sake of it.
  11. I'd prefer Lindsay @ 9 if we're going another mid. Would like some pace to offset Langfords lack of pure break-away speed..
  12. Well I've been watching a lot of Harvey Langford highlights lately and have fallen in love with him, so now I'm torn. What a position to be in..
  13. We'd have to split 9, wonder if Port, GWS, WC or Freo might give us their first and early second..
  14. I believe WC had pick 2 when that post was made
  15. He's my preferred now. With a bullet. Just looks like the next Dangerfield the way he moves. Adelaide would be [censored] NUTS to pass on this kid, I really hope they do!
  16. Yeah I just can't see it happening. Never even considered the possibility of Draper being there for our pick, but I'd call out his name with zero hesitation if he was!
  17. Kolt is an intriguing one to me also and probably one I'm following a lot more closely than any other recent draftee, I think because we gave up a bit to trade up and nothing about his skill set screams out to me. But I can see something. There's a doggedness about him that's just waiting for his body to catch up. It won't be through lack of trying or passion that he doesn't cement a spot in the 22
  18. Prime for us at 9. Fills a need and at worst is a running back type at best another damaging mid, would be like having a spare Rivers. Want.
  19. They can get a Smilie/Reid/Trainor/Armstrong possibly Tauru combo for 7&8. They need that. I'd be happy with those two picks in the hand if I was them.
  20. If we get to 9, and there's 4 blokes on the board we'd be happy with, then yeah we get 26 for free. If not, we just use 9. That's the logical play at least..
  21. I'm getting the sense no one's really going to want to trade down for North's 2 - and they won't be able to beat our 5 anyway, so North might have to not be "greedy" and just use a bit of our philosophy, and pony up 2 for your need and call it a day.
  22. He's a good analyst, he had a video of Windsor in his draft year and pretty much nailed his assessment of him.
  23. Pressure's on though, because if you do then they BOTH have to be locks in the 22 otherwise you've passed on a potential star
  24. Recently McVee, JVR, Tholstrup, Rivers, Jackson even Taj Woewodin - we certainly aren't afraid to draft from Western Australia so it wouldn't be a surprise
  25. I feel like the circled are out only real suitable trade partners seeing how the perceived value adds up. Pick 5 for Rich 10&11 Pick 9 for GWS 15&16, or WC 12&26 (of they want Allen) Or some similar combo. Of course the opposite is true for them - do they want to reduce their picks in an even draft?
