  1. Nothing other than the fact that (in my non-expert opinion), they look like they'll make it as AFL footballers who will slot right into our current team. I also do like Tauru but get the sense while we've got Lever, a Travalia/Lindsay type player would be more dynamic to our current setup. Also don't rate Armstrong, which is probably unfair, but he's incredibly underwhelming to me.
  2. If we can get Lalor/Smith, Travaglia/Lindsay double I'd go nuts
  3. Bloody oath. Essendon's telegraphed their intention on Kako so we really should bid @ #5 for the lols
  4. Someone wake me up from this nightmare
  5. I rate him, the comment was more around we need more than just those two.
  6. We're nuts if we don't get two legit mids this draft, or at least a genuine mid and someone who can progress to one. Slim pickings when the next batch is headlined by Sparrow and Rivers.
  7. What are your thoughts on Travaglia, do you see shades of Rivers in his highlights package?
  8. I hope not, that was a pretty uninspiring highlights package. Drops more than he marks, doesn't really crash a pack and struggles from 50. Jefferson vibes hard. Can we just play it safe with two blue chip mids please.
  9. I would hope we'd be looking at that. If we see minimal drop off between 5 and 9 we will essentially be getting pick 11 for free. Only problem is that that might be the Tiges thinking also. Would love to add 3 more kids to the list. 2 mids and a KPP
  10. Would an offer of pick #5 for Richmond's pick #10 & #11 be a thing that could happen?
  11. I love him. Looks like a classic J.T special! Good linking play, looks to have some pace - he's a ball hunter, doest stop running, can easily see him progressing to a midfield role. Big yes from me if he makes it to 9
  12. Not really. We wanted pick 9 because we have a particular target in mind and our later picks were the price. There was nothing to negotiate - they needed draft points and we wanted a high end draft pick. Neither party had wiggle room. This year's second and a future first was the crux of the deal and the other pics might have been the cost of doing business, but if pick 9 ends up being a gun then that's all that matters.
  13. I don't understand why A) if Houston was happy staying if a fair deal wasn't reached they went ahead with this deal, and B) If he was happy going to any club then why all of a sudden did it turn into just Carlton or Collingwood when North had more trade currency. Houston full of it or something else happen behind the scenes?
  14. His highlights suggest he spends more time in the forward line and running between the arcs, you are right. Looks like a very suitable ANB replacement and I wouldn't be surprised if he slots in round 1.
  15. They weren't going to trade him so we moved out assets into other deals. Will that suffice?
  16. Lalor if he's available, please. He seems like the one teams will regret passing on in a few years time..
  17. That doesn't look great for Port. They've gone from wanting 2 first round picks to taking one, some hot and cold players, and giving a future first. Also wasn't North offering one of their early pics? Wasn't Dan initially saying he doesn't mind who he goes to? Was that just to appear accommodating because he is in essence requesting this trade for more $$ and a bigger contract
  18. You probably did miss it, I've seen it covered on all the major stations.
  19. Our list already has too many players who don't want to play for us what's one more 😂
  20. That's the closure I need, good timely video I hope everyone can move past this now.
  21. It took me back to when McMahon did it for Richmond. Actually let's not talk about what happened after that one.
  22. I mean I'll probably never feel the same about him but all I need him to do is his best in the colours and nothing else really matters I guess. If anything this whole saga has strengthened my admiration for Gawn, Viney and his elk. The dudes who genuinely love the club we do and don't give a [censored] about social trends and mediocre cooking content t
  23. Alexa how do I fix a broken signed framed Petracca memorabilia peice?
  24. Guess I'll bin the poem I was crafting
  25. If we let Track get to Collingwood or Carlton then equalisation and fairness are dead. It's setting a dangerous precedent where a perfect storm (natural or manufactured) can see a star player move to a powerful club if their management team are shrewd enough to attempt a sudden break of contract such as this.
