  1. Tholstrup's miss from 25 out right in front at a crucial time summed it up for me. He's VFL calibre at best. Shame we used 2 pics on him but it is what it is. In contrast you can see the difference in what actual AFL level quality looks like in Cully - has poise and solid skill. Laurie has patches of brilliance but sometimes his disposal lets him down. I want to see him given a good go next year. The delistings should be easy this year. Some decent list turnover will be healthy for this club.
  2. Announce something, the suspense is mildly annoying me.
  3. What does that mean? Anyone can take your father/son with a first round pick now?
  4. . Edited already answered (demonland needs a "delete post" function 😊)
  5. Definite Cale Morton vibes.. So glad he was never in our sights (for a trade up)
  6. It could always be worse, we could be Carlton supporters
  7. I've also grown since the announcement.
  8. The 1.4 mill a year might have helped..
  9. Happy with the boys endeavour to day and special shout out to Cully who I thought would be a bust after watching at Casey, but he looks that unique type that plays better in the firsts. Ice Windsor for the remainder, maybe bring in Laurie for a couple and let's do it afiain next week
  10. Yep. We all knew this. As soon as the May decision was final I knew the precedent set was just for clubs like us. The dynamism of each contest and how it can be interpreted leaves a blank slate for the powers that be to make an example out of the clubs they chose. Problem is that the examples that they try to set through strugglers like us is never followed through when one of the darling clubs find themselves in similar situations. We are the sacrificially lambs for AFL houses seemingly selective concern for for head trauma. They can point to our punishments for examples of them trying to mitigate injury. Lucky us right?
  11. He won't, and it is.
  12. Hallelujah faith restored!
  13. Right special, wrong player. It will be Sharp 😂
  14. Watch him be sub, play the last 15 minutes or less, then dropped back to the magoos. The Goody special I call it.
  15. Say less Green. This is the part I'll judge all your supposed desire and want to be a great club.
  16. Imagine we extend his contract lol
  17. At least 2 goals gifted to them from the umps. There's the game right there. I said it in the game day thread and I'll say it here - against the big clubs - and ESPECIALLY against Carlton - the umpires NEVER miss one of their free kicks, and they miss plenty of ours. How are we supposed to win with this list, against the wishes of the corporate beast of the AFL's financial interests? It's too much of a handicap to bare
  18. Worth. Every. Cent.
  19. Can't blame Goody for this, we're just [censored]
  20. Why is it that the umpires never miss the the free kicks for our opponents? Doesn't matter who we're playing - umpires never miss it. This protected zone thing is making me want to walk away from this game.
  21. I'm glad we drafted Howes for the Casey team. I mean, [censored] the future, am I right?
  22. F@ckwit
  23. Already am.
  24. Can we trade JT for a guy that can identify forward talent?
  25. This is a major black mark on JT's record. Not enough has been said about it honestly.
