My point was finishing 8th on a team that finished 14th is hardly proof of any greatness or something to shut any haters up, and I actually dont even hate Chandler, i think hes a good user who would look much better on a team who moved the ball faster. Let me throw up GWS as an example. Leon Cameron had them in flag contention (didnt win a flag like Goody but made it to a grand final) after that they dropped away slowly but surely playing boring predictable football towards the end much like we have this year. In comes Adam Kingsley who reenergises the entire club in quick time. Nobody was saying how great the Kingsley appointment was at the time. Same could be said for Collingwood with Buckley and McRae. Stop living in 2021 that time has passed us by. Dont be scared of change, embrace it.
