  1. Much of it would come from the sale of the Burwood campus and primary school centres in st Kilda and Caulfield. Even so, $195m is a lot of money and that’s without anything being built. I won’t even have a guess on how much it will cost to build a school
  2. Cash? You do realise you can buy a property without paying 100% of your own cash.
  3. I believe that MFC admin will be freehold and its training ovals will be crown owned.
  4. A rare win, win, win for all parties
  5. I believe they are trying to get outside entities to invest in the new master plan. They won’t be able to fund this themselves. In addition there is push by government to utilise the middle of the track better than it currently is
  6. They are buying 75,000 sqm of land. Surely the can squeeze in a 12,000 sqm oval?
  7. I’m sure that for $195m the MRC can find another 15mteres to cater for an oval. I might be wrong, but I wouldnt be spending that much money in order to share grounds with MFC and the whole Glen eira community
  8. There is space within the 75,000 space that scopus is buying to fit in a 12,000 sqm oval. They only need 120m in width. I can’t see scopus paying 195m for land and then have to negotiate the use of the ovals. They will build their own dedicated oval.
  9. The area that the MFC earmarked (which isn’t part of the school purchase) is still 10,000 sqm. This is a sizeable allotment to build an admin centre and indoor facilities
  10. It would have been a lot easier for scopus as they aren’t planning on using the facilities inside the track which is crown land. They just purchased the MRC freehold
  11. I guess photoshop isn’t your strong suit.. 🤣
  12. I don’t believe scopus are going to use the facilities in the middle of the track. They are most likely going to build its sporting facilities within their purchased land
  13. Seems that the admin site for MFC and scopus don’t overlap. Doesn’t look like scopus are planning on using the facilities inside the track and will instead build their sporting facilities within the area they’ve purchased.
  14. You think aiden is in the 22 and will play forward/ruck? That’s why petty was moved back?
  15. Tmac would be stiffed getting dropped from the backline. He was our best backman last year. Not sure how you fit Tmac, lever, may and petty in the same backline
  16. I’m happy to be proven wrong about spargo but players will pass him by. Smart footy brain isn’t enough
  17. Unfortunately spargo is too small for the game and doesn’t compensate this with other skills.
  18. Who played the other wing last season?
  19. It wouldn’t surprise me if Lindsey is closer to 185cm rather than 183. Same higher as trac. He should have some real size on him in a few years
  20. Maybe he is wearing those farm boots?
  21. Xavier is listed at 183cm. Goodwin is 185cm. How is Xavier taller than Goodwin in this picture?
  22. The trajectory for nsw and qld is getting better however slow. I can see that in the next decade their number will match SA and WA
  23. We need midfielders.. dees already have a glut of tall backs and forwards
  24. Agree… will easily slot into the team round 1 as a half forward.
