  1. Once you lose speed the game goes past you. Oliver prime example. Not sure where Steele will play without leg speed
  2. Dustin Martin says hi…
  3. You do realise that jurrah didn’t have a successful career? 36 games is an average return. Yes, it’s successful from the position that he came from but if Pickett only played 36 games I’d say this pick was a bust.
  4. Add to that Langford at 190cm
  5. Slightly better worded “Do you see him developing the polish and agility to play through the midfield, or is his game style more comparable to Cripps?”
  6. Does he have the polish or agility to play mid? Or do you think he will play more like Cripps?
  7. Which forwards does hawthorn have?
  8. Dees have taken a risk with Pickett at selection 12. you can see that he has exquisite skills however he hasn’t played much at senior level or top under age football. Is this a concern?
  9. Are you saying a backman at 192cm can’t play against a 193cm forward?
  10. Did you listen to him on draft night? He ‘literally confirmed himself’ that he didn’t go to school at all
  11. Incorrect. He chose not to do year 12 and instead focus on football. Worked with his uncle in a factory.
  12. He didn’t do year 12… might be a first for the MFC
  13. I would have thought Lindsay and Dovaston are better than some of those picked to attend the draft night. Time will tell if I’m right.
  14. since you are so knowledgeable, please tell me which of these players Nairn is better than going off their highlights? Robey Sharp Grlj Taylor Cumming Greeves Farrow Lindsay Dovaston
  15. Hahaha… didn’t realise questioning a club picking a player at pick 10 that no other analyst has picked under 25 is trolling… BTW I’ve watched Nairns highlight list and he doesn’t come close to a top ten pick. Regardless, I’ll be proven right come draft night as there isn’t a chance that dees pick him with their 2 first picks
  16. Gothard was at least 21 in ‘rookie me’ https://central.rookieme.com/afl/2023/11/20/rookie-me-centrals-2023-phantom-afl-draft/ Rowston was 19 in the espn phantom draft. All of the above picks are with 5-10… you are expecting Nairn to go almost 15 spots higher than anyone has him?
  17. Fritsch was pick 31 not top 10
  18. But he has put out his top 20 rankings which essentially mirrors the draft. I’ll be surprised if someone he rates as 25 two days ago gets picked ten 2 days later
  19. In case you didn’t understand what I was saying, nairn isn’t in anyone’s top 20 phantom draft. Pickett was 13th in espn ESPN.comEvery club, every pick: ESPN's full AFL phantom draftThe 2019 draft is on our doorstep, and ESPN expert Chris Doerre has analysed all the possibilities to expand his phantom draft from the first pick to the very last.
  20. Pickett, Windsor and Jackson were all ragged top 20 in every draft. Stop rewriting history
  21. He is rated in the mid 20’s. Not one phantom draft has him in the top 10
  22. It’s like im living in an alternative universe. Cal Twomey has had an almost 100% rate for years now. That’s even up to the top 20. Very rarely will a pick touted for 25 land in the top 10. Im starting to think dees supporters have had a lobotomy
  23. Then why up until yesterday cals draft had him at pick 25
  24. Can you send me your phantom draft from last year and multiple you tube videos breaking down every player?
  25. This is now becoming comical. Why would Melbourne pick Nairn with pick 8 when no one has him lower than pick 25?
