Really happy about Jack but Demonland can be a deflating place at times.

Here we are. The living certainty that Viney, Petracca and Oliver are staying is coming to fruition. It was always 100% definite. The 4 years does seem generous but is it heavily front ended? Not too concerned but hoping so. I really hope we learn a lesson and follow the Geelong model (apologies!) and we manage Jack and Max the way they have with Dangerfield etc. If not the longer contracts are somewhat fraught and we won't be getting the best out of two champs of the club.

Quite amazing. We are such a broken club with a poor list yet apparently multiple teams want any amount of our players. Great 'journalism'.

Well summarised. It is truly and utterly pathetic. Carlton, Collingwood and, to a lesser extent, Essendon escape scrutiny. We've just come off a 10 goal demolition of the Suns we're no interstate club has won with half a team. All kudos goes to the Blues against a pathetic and hapless Eagles. And what do we cop? The aforementioned pile of faeces that you have do eloquently outlined. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!

My apologies. Im a bit slow. Should have picked that up. Yes, of course they knew he was in Noosa. Have no idea what goes through Caroline Wilson's head but I suspect not much. Looking at Petracca today it's obvious he has been through a massive trauma. ' IF' he has made any decisions/actions that have been dubious this could well have been as a result of being in a very low place. I still doubt it. Those that that are beying for him to comment need to just chill for awhile.

Agree re Clarko but he did backflip in 24 hours. Yes, Garry was a passionate Demon tonight but he actually told the story as it probably is without the sensationalism in which others indulge. Brown and Buckley were basically speechless. Lyon made so much sense that one could not argue against it. You know what? I came away from this thinking it could be a great fork in the road for us. Through injury and other circumstances it has been the season from hell. Succeed on Friday night and its 12 wins. Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon barely or not as good with a fraction of our issues. Christian no doubt has been through trauma. This will be another evolutionary off season step. Change will occur. Draftees will arrive. Trades will be made. Stars will return. A host of young players will further develop. Coaches will move on. We'll be back!

Loved Garry Lyon as a player but over the years I've found that he has gone out of his way to be critical of our club. In recent times I feel that has changed. Started in SEN a few days ago but his impassioned segment on 'On The Couch' was next level. Spoke eloquently and with heart about the Petracca situation and made more sense in 10 minutes than all other pundits combined. Also loved the way he slapped down Clarkson's clip about Viney. Gave up watching Footy Classified a long time ago. A clip just popped up on FB and I know why. This show should listed as a Fantasy series. Somehow, someone has told Caroline Wilson that Petracca talking to the players this morning was the first time they knew he was in Noosa. Really? She knows this for a fact? 'A source' told her. What a turn up for the books! It's just embarrassing, gutter "journalism'. Inventing a problem that doesn't exist. Then Hutchy, Lloyd and Cornes join in the pile on with no evidence of anything. A very creative quartet is the best I can say.. Just utter drivel. Cornes has also jumped off us completely condemning us to immediate slide. Let's wait and see pal.

So let me see. Petracca has trained 3 times that I know of when he had no compulsion to do so, attended BBB's farewell and posted an emotional farewell to him. What more evidence do naysayers need that he is going nowhere? Said it before and I'll say it again. Petracca, Oliver and Viney are going nowhere. FACT! I'm very happy to accept any wagers to the contrary.

With all due respect that proves nothing. There could be multiple mitigating circumstances. Nevertheless, doesn't take away from the fact that the likes of Morris and McLure throw things out there without a shred of proof and we are all work ourselves into a frenzy. Imagine Eagles supporters when Sam McClure definitively stated , from his sources, that Harley Reid would not end up at the Eagles. These blokes come out with stuff that people conveniently forget when they're completely wrong. Rabble, club asunder, sack the coach, no game plan, trade most players. Now, the Suns are not world beaters but we are the only interstate club to beat them on their own dung hill. Correction.
