  1. Sounds like youre piling on Latrelle.
  2. Clearly something you're not telling us.
  3. Show me data not theories
  4. Someone said that he refused to be selected in that final. It seems a little far fetched that someone would refuse to do what they are contracted to do.
  5. a What?
  6. Honestly that is not good enough.
  7. Quotes like Bullock's are correct but often used out of context. The government can't run out of money like a business can but it doesnt mean debt is meaningless. Inflation, exchange rates and financial stability still impose limits so its not like the debt doesnt matter. I did probably misread the second point. That is accurate. Well no, government debt is a financial asset for whoever holds the bonds but that doesnt make it private savings. In fact a large share is held by institutions and foreign investors.
  8. Your claims are simplified and misleading. Saying that Commonwealth debt is issued after spending isn't accurate in Australia. Spending and borrowing are linked through the budget financing process and the government still needs to maintain enough cash in its account at the RBA to meet payments. Saying that without debt interest rates would fall to zero is simplistic because even if bonds didn't exist they could still set an interest rate by paying interest on bank reserves. Lastly those trillion dollars cant be private savings. This sounds like a political interpretation. You have brought up some facts but it sounds like they have been mixed with ideological theory.
  9. Keep it to yourself. Let people support how they want and just enjoy the win.
  10. Like a dagger to my heart.
  11. They blew smoke up our backsides. The SEN interview put that out for all to see.
  12. I do agree that those playing will be relied on a lot this season. Can we get what we can out of Rivers, Salem, Petty, Jiath, Sparrow, Fritsch, Sharp, Chandler, Culley and others between 22 and 28. That will be the question.
  13. I think he'll have a very good year.
  14. Carlton were very ordinary. 1 goal in a half should not see you win a game and 9 out of 10 times they would have been overrun like normal. They are 0-2 for all I care. Just hope we can knock them off.
  15. We have heard the talk now it is time to walk. All the words about bold new gameplan and playing attacking and daring footy now need to be shown.
  16. The music will just mean we are kicking goals.
  17. Kozzie is playing and that is good news.
  18. Thats nice and a good bunch of rhetoric speak. Its just not in any way true though is it? Government spending is like a business or household whether you personally like it or not. Your attitude that its guaranteed by the commonwealth is like saying that the clubs were guaranteed by the AFL during Covid. Just because that may be doesn't mean that you want to put your destiny in those hands. Someone has to pay the debt in the end and this spend first ask questions later attitude is what will send us into another recession. It wins the voters though. Debt doesn’t just disappear. Someone eventually has to deal with it, and a spend now worry later approach is exactly the kind of thinking that risks pushing the economy toward another recession.
  19. Do you think people are really that stupid?
  20. How can you say somerthing so silly. He's on the cusp and likely been training the house down.
  21. Are you sure about that cartman?
  22. Green and silver, red and blue! Looking forward to seeing our demons go round.
  23. Facade or not they are good indicators of the massive debt the state is in which has grown by over 400% in the last decade. If you think the government has a license to print license to print money then that is wrong.
  24. A debt of $160 billion projected to be $187 billion in 2 years. A downgraded credit rating yet again. A public service that keeps expanding for little to no reason and on top of that youre suggesting to buy back a toll road which turns over $13 billion a year? Ok...
  25. Yet some here would have you think that we had no choice but to add 7 years onto the end of that. Go figure.
