It appears that the proposed relocation of the Caulfield Racecourse as a home base was nothing more than a performative exercise orchestrated by the board and CEO. The project seemingly lacked genuine intent, yet the club expended significant time and financial resources on a feasibility study and concept drawings. Was there any consultation with the Caulfield Racecourse Board, particularly given reports that the Mount Scopus agreement has been under negotiation since late 2023. If the club were genuinely committed to securing a new home base, it is conceivable that any well-informed board member could have foreseen the impracticality of this concept at minimal cost. The pertinent question, therefore, is whether the former CEO or President breached their fiduciary duties, thereby causing measurable harm to the football club. This matter may warrant closer scrutiny in light of potential continued governance failures.

Caulfield as an option was a distraction from the board it simply wont happen and everyone knows it. The club with get the DD report and the council/state government won't agree on it as it public open space so this is pie in the sky stuff that wastes more time.

Perhaps brand Petracca found out there was no market or way for a trade to a big Melbourne Club. They should focus on cooking Tik Tok's and leave the footy side of things to the actual sports management team.

Clear the decks and get a fresh start as a minimum in the Footy Department (Goodwin/Richardson) should be the minimum all is not well in the football part of the club is the clear message from what's happening. Pert & Roffey can then get out the door as well.

Its been on the grape vine in SA & WA that Kosi is gettable and his partner really wants to head home! The club gave ANB a hug and media talking about how much they love a bloke who wants to leave and we'll make it happen for him, perhaps that makes it to easy for others to follow assuming they'll get the same treatment!

Pert's record speaks for itself...Culture at Dee's & Pie's when he is in charge hasn't exactly been fantastic! Roffey got handed the best Chairpersons gig in footy we were flying and since she took over its slowly fallen apart. Roffey has got great experience in Government department's and Universities which is probably why we are in this mess. The skill set has lead the way on all sorts of flag waving and feel good inclusiveness but no results where it maters whilst the joint falls apart. The board and particularly Roffey are far to close to Goodwin he should never have received he extension last year pre finals and should surely go now the footy department needs a complete reset
