Interesting that in Cunningham’s return game, against WCE in round 4, he had about 1/4 of his usual output. Cameron definitely didn’t play as well last season after the “friendly fire” from Rohan. He is named on the bench tomorrow and they have not named Rohan. Guess they don’t want to risk more friendly fire?

Does anyone know the reason that the reserve teams aren’t able to play before the AFL teams this week? Is the MCG surface so frail? What’s happening before the game on the MCG?

Ump just held the game up because pies/cox couldn’t get their [censored] together and get to the boundary throw in. If they choose a stupid time to interchange, that is on them.

What’s Williams done to that ump?

Was Highmore playing on Jeffo or Schache? He’s a pretty reasonable defender that I thought was hard done by the Saints. Jeffo was marking everything against the dogs so I’d say it’s just a natural part of getting to a higher level more consistently. They’ll all be good, bad and absolutely shocking at times because they’ve all played just a handful of games.

Turned on Tigers V Eagles 10 minutes in. (90min ago) Could not watch Kayo because of the stuttering picture and sound. Did anybody else have this problem? Just turned it back now and it seems better. Tried other streams and they were okay. But this match was consistently [censored].

Part of the issue is players trying to get to a preferred position so they cannot be pushed under the ball. Agreed. Some of the boundary throw ins are getting more and more subpar. Surely they should be required to show consistency before being let loose. Also, field umpires used to give feedback during games. I’m not sure whether this still happens.
