Top 8 stay as it is, and have a week off going in to the finals. 9-rest play a ‘lightning tank-a-thon’. Maybe a quarter each way type of thing, at same venue on same day. Just like a lightning premiership, but of course no one wants to win as they all want better draft picks! So kind of like a slow bicycle race. Would be a complete laugh and much more entertaining for the rest of us! Maybe on to something here as it means during the regular season there is 0 incentive to tank so rounds 1-whatever are more meaningful and the joke of a fixture matters less. But unfortunately no Freo death ride either. Lightning Tank-a-thon - you know it makes sense…..

I had a dream that at the first l bounce in the 2023 granny Max takes the centre bounce and it ends up with Nick Daicos who is smashed into next week by Grundy running in from CHB. Grundy then goes forward and clunks a few. C’wood come back but we win 🏆. Buckley and Barrett lose power of speech for a week.

Love the pod! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. An amazing win, Max, Trac, Viney personified incredible effort, skill belief and leadership. We were clean and on early, raced to 4 goal lead and looked like we would run away. Brisbane (clearly a good side) eroded that lead by half-time before getting out to 28 points themselves several times. How did this 50 point swing happen and what do we need to improve in this middle period?

No. I’d just settle for media that is professional and even.
Like many I’m sick of the anti-Melbourne media bias in commentary and analysis. We’ve all seen open Barracking against us, reopening and poking of wounds, delight in our misfortune, misinformation, malice and mischief. Rather than complain which will just make it worse, I’m thinking as a club we need to play the long game and groom select/interested current and recent AFL/AFLW past players/assistants for media roles with a Media College. Learning would be theoretical and practical and would cover traditional media and new media, marketing, entrepreneurship, management, PR. Could be delivered with a mix of current and latent club contacts through supports and sponsors, in partnership with a university so delivers a choice of formal qualification. In years to come we will gradually redress the balance by having more engaging and informed comment and entertainment coming from those who are, know, love and protect demons. Don’t get angry get even. Could we do this?
