We made a mistake by extending his previous contract BEFORE we knew the result of last year's finals. I believe he still had one year, this year, from the previous contract. Don't extend if we don't perform in the finals, then see how it goes in 2024. We would be having a very different discussion today. On top of that Oliver's off the field issues coincided with this whole situation.

Specially Woewodin, it's a travesty. For such a young player that could become a 200 gamer for the club. Is there some lost love between Goodwin and Woewodin Sr?

Do we really see Max going strong in 2026? That's a 35/36 year old, few players reach that age group. I agree that the value of some trades is more about salary cap gains more than a compensation, agree on Salem.
