  1. 2022 we should've done the Lynch type move that Richmond did in 2018. I'll say it again, despite looking unlikely, we should've put a godfather offer in front of McKay.... Was Ben King available?
  2. Petty - need him back in his natural position to assess Petracca - definitely improved before injury Langdon - I wouldn't say improved but back to his 2021 level ANB - slight improvement Fritsch - keeps scoring lots of goals, skill wise he is consistent. His issue is more mental/effort I would agree with all others. Although some you don't need them to improve but just maintain the level (Max, Clarry, Viney, Lever).
  3. JVR strikes me as a loyal fellow and mature for his age, he already signed longer than what man child Jackson did.
  4. Can we start a GoFund me to hire a manure truck to do a special delivery to #4s house? It would be a fitting gift.
  5. One thing I would like to acknowledge is that the Demon Army is second to none when it comes to cheer squads. As passionate and loud as any. And on top of that you guys always bring all the 'gear', even on most interstate games. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Kudos Demon Army.
  6. I agree with most of the above, but specifically on point 3. The fact that we have known, even after the flag, that we needed to strengthen our KPF position and nothing has happened is very damning. I was expecting us to make a godfather offer to one KPF in 2022, similar to what Richmond did after they won in 2017 with Lynch. Instead we have tried to transform defenders into forwards (Petty and Turner). Or hope that BBB would be healthy enough to play more than 15 games in a season. I think it is now too late and we just have to work with what we have. Develop JVR and Jeffo, maybe bring a veteran forward that doesn't cost much for a couple of years to help those two young guns. I am not convinced on spending a lot of money and potentially draft picks for Waterman. Actually, would Lynch make sense? Just as a mentor to our young guns not really expecting him to be our next premiership forward. That would just be a bonus.
  7. We might as well just default the season right? I am honestly tired of the injuries card we like to use when things are going bad, as if we were the only team that is impacted. Most teams will have interrupted preseasons, injuries and all sorts of trouble during the H&A, but champion teams find a way to overcome the adversity. We haven't.
  8. He is as tough as an overcooked spaghetti 🙃
  9. Brisbane is now the favourite. If Fagan can't deliver it now, it will never be.
  10. If Sydney is losing 45-0, what is it going to be for us next week? 🫣
  11. One thing I am dumbfounded is all the talk, specially form senior players, after our losses and always saying how they want to play for the Guernsey and the coach. There have been multiple games this season where a lot of them looked disinterested and not motivated enough. You can lose against better teams but how do we explain the lack of effort against Freo twice, WC, Now Bulldogs, Brisbane (at the G)? Remember the great Neale Daniher... When it's all said and done...
  12. He'd be better than Sparrow that's for sure. The way I felt about him was similar to the way I feel about Sparrow. And yes it is a bit revisionist. However both him and Sparrow had the opportunity to prove their worth this season, one stepped up ... the other, well you know.
  13. Our dangerous players are, in my view, the following: Petracca Fritsch Kozzy Rivers Windsor Hopefully JVR next year can become one, he is going well at the moment.
  14. The AFL is still finds ways of screwing us. It laughable that those top draft pick contracts are only 2 year. Should be 3+1 (team option). That way teams would have more leverage if these players want to go home early (JHF 👀).
  15. I do miss JJ. Granted his ceiling was low but he was a very consistent performer and his floor was good enough to be a starting player. He could've helped us so much this season in the midfield.
  16. Fagan might be if he continues to fail in September. His list is ageing, specially in the fwd and backline.
  17. North and Richmond
  18. Were those players veterans? I have seen nothing but good character in our young brigade.
  19. Goodwin probably will become an assistant after his tenure with us is done. As I mentioned before if we don't make a GF in the next two years, he shouldn't be offered a new contract. 2021 will be a distant memory in season 2026
  20. Why wouldn't your mob let us get McKay? I am surprised he wanted to stay under Curnows Shadow. He could've been our star forward and Premiership player in 2023.
  21. Cap space is more than good enough, I think he is a top 10 salary in our list. Anything else is just extra, late draft pick most likely.
  22. What's with the MFC and KPF? We can't get one or have issues when we have one (Hogan). JVR please be the one 🤞🏻
  23. I tend to think that we missed on McKay in 2022. I was begging for us to throw a massive deal in front of him. I guess I'll never know.
  24. Too much money too soon?
