One of the few low lights. Happy to play behind and stand there while getting beaten in the ruck and looks like he’s on ice skates the way he never keeps his feet.

One game of JVR is the only sample size that exists genius. And when looking at a max value like this, a sample size isn’t as relevant as the stat is looking at career highs. I’ve done plenty of post grad study in statistics, if you can’t see how replacing a low tackle count in F50 with a higher one is relevant to sundays game then I can’t explain it to you. Interesting stat from the weekend. On debut JVR had 6 tackles. In 61 games Weideman has never had that many. He’s had 5 twice.

Yeah you want to beat their best side, not a cobbled together seconds, which is probably what it will be. You can dislike the club (as I do) but no one takes any pleasure in seeing these blokes who give their all get injured.

Weather report from Brisbane. Was the coolest morning here for about 4 months with the MoeMobile saying 20 degrees at 7am. A week ago it was 28 at the same time. Some dew on the windscreen which I have not seen in about the same time. Nowhere near as hot and humid as it has been. Should be a nice night but will likely get a bit slippery later in the evening.

I live in Brisbane. It’s cooled down quite a bit after a heat wave. Last weekend was absolutely stinking hot, so looks like we will be fairly fortunate with the weather. It will be relatively temperate and the real hot edge to days and nights has eased this week.
