"The Prelim Kings" banner in Geelong cheer squad! Didn't see that last year!!!

The scary thing is that quite a few star Cats have been relatively quiet tonight. Rohan, Cameron, Guthrie, Stengle, Smith They will absolutely slaughter Sydney or Collingwood

Can you imagine how much Rich and Hawkins will blow out to when their AFL careers are over? Need someone here to do a photoshop on that
  5. Would be hard to fit in more sweeping statements and predictable stereotypes in as few words as these. Well done!

Cats pressure reminding me of ours in the lead up to last years GF

Amazing i50 by Myers to Hawkins. If only we could do similar instead of long bombing to a pocket
  8. When (no, if...) Duursma ever kicks 40+ goals in consecutive years, we might have a convo
  9. You might think that, but it would likely have a significant effect on young supporters with 36 or 6 on their jumper. Kids aren't as rusted on as they have been on the past
  10. One of the Dogga 1st rounders, for arguments sake #10, and our 2nd rounder (this year or 2023) for Butters BUT PICKETT STAYS PUT!
  11. That might be true, but blind freddie can see it's in WCEs interest to play ball and push the price up that Freo will pay
  12. Logue, Hopper AND Tarranto??? With Dusty, Prestia, Rioli, Lynch and Bolton as well? Geez, I'd like there to be an independent audit of each club's TPP in relation to the SC. Beats me how some can keep adding 'star' players each year
  13. Heard on the radio that Lobb has apparently bought a house in Melb and already moved in??? Hard to continue playing for Freo when you live in Melbourne 🤷
  14. Probably would've been better if she let her son do the talking and not add so quickly and publicly to the situation, regardless of how grateful she is.
  15. Yeah, nah Now we are speculating what players think??? I reckon Dogga gave his all this year, I doubt his teamates would've let him get away with anything less than that. They'd 100% know if he wasn't focussed come game time Btw, there's no comparison between HWSNBN and Dogga. No need to list the reasons why, its obvious. Any comparison is almost offensive to Dogga and what he's achieved
  16. I don't know why any player is reported when playing against us. Its a given that they'll get off on appeal
  17. Dont know that is true. I think people are claiming this because his form has dropped off, but moreso from a sense of rejection, that he doesn't want to be a Demon for life. It's worth remembering that Dogga has carried a significant knee problem since about mid season, apparently requiring surgery. Players can have feelings of home sickness and focus on their job at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive.
  18. Say what???

I like that, with Turner getting more gametime as well
  20. So that would mean we get Grundy (on about $700k) and pick 2 for Jackson + a late 1st rounder? The late 1st rounder might come from giving up our 2023 1st rounder Perhaps Cadman with pick 2?
  21. The two finals kinda summed up our season. Play well in the first half, don't make the most of i50s due to dysfunctional forward line, give up a decent lead, don't make any significant changes. For a brief moment, we saw what Petty in the forward line could've done had we made that change mid season. Too little, too late
  22. 2nd rounder and steak knives?
  23. One mark in a semi final. One
  24. Thank God they don't play BTs commentary out loud at the game
