Can you give an example of when we've actually tried to do any of those things? All I see at the moment is an even worse version of our 2024 system.

What exactly is our new game plan though? The last two weeks I've seen absolutely no system or cohesion at all. Nobody seems to know what they're doing.

Yep their loss to the bulldogs in that PF is up there with the most insipid finals performances in modern history.

People also forget that Port Adelaide and Brisbane were gifted home finals while we had to play at neutral venues despite being minor premiers.

Total dumpster fire. No composure, no chemistry, no system, no connection. It's been a long time since I've seen us look this flat and miserable on the field. What worries me is that multiple players are going backwards really quickly. Fritsch looks lost, Rivers is totally devoid of confidence, and JVR has completely forgotten how to lead. I didn't think things could get much worse than last week but here we are.

2021 was the perfect blend of our original style under Goodwin and our current one. We were primarily a defensive team but we always seemed to find the perfect time to switch gears and pile on goals. We gradually lost that skill in the subsequent seasons.

That was arguably our single worst performance since Paul Roos' last game as coach. The scary thing is that I don't even think North were that good. We were just absolutely atrocious on every front. We constantly fumbled, turned it over and failed to stick simple tackles. Our inability to hit a target in the f50 was comical. I really don't know what year we are in for. All the confidence I gained after the GWS game is gone.

Chandler is the only player who can hold his head high today. Everyone else on the other hand...

Viney's kicking into the 50 has been atrocious today. It was actually an area of his game that had been improving up until today.

Trac and Oliver looked great. That was what I really cared about for this practice game.

Yeah he hasn't been completely polished but I reckon his positives have outweighed his negatives today.

Agree. There was also barely anything in the Head/Siraj altercation but the commentators made it sound as if they went into an actual fistfight. I think the media just wants this series to be as drama fulled as possible.

Been disappointing for me. I was really excited by him at the end of '21 but he hasn't progressed at all since then. I struggle to really see what his role is at the moment. It's all very well to point at his workrate but getting 15 disposals (with the occasional goal thrown in) nearly every week is simply not enough for someone who spends as much time in the midfield as he does.

That's literally one of the worst takes I've ever read. We'd hardly have a club left if it wasn't for Jones.

He loves Weid but hates JVR even though he's already a much better player.
