Have always thought Mark Williams goal kicking coaching has been overrated. How can a full time AFL player have a set shot routine like Max, my 5 year old can kick better than that. It’s ridiculous.

If I was a Collingwood player or supporter, I would’ve loved what Cox did to Max at the first bounce. Yes the game dies down, but some intent from the first bounce says to other teammates let’s go. Unfortunately that first quarter partly cost us the game. Theres no more second chances from now, we do the same against Carlton and it’s ‘what if’.

Look at the positives. If we lose, better draft pick. Back to the good old days of draft time more exciting than in season. (Really I just want to smash Carlton) 😛😛😛

So we apparently have some of the best coaches in the land. Goodwin (multiple premiership player, premiership coach) Choco (premiership coach) Yze (assistant in Clarko years, played a lot of forward in career) How can they not see how terrible our forward 50 entries are, it totally baffles me. And it keeps happening week upon week. How about lower the eyes, lead different directions, instead of bombing then praying for a pack mark. Crumbers need to stay down and do their job, crumb. Looking at you Kozzie especially. Coaches need a kick up the bum in my opinion. Fix it, cause straight sets are fast approaching. And FFS come out breathing fire from the first bounce.

If we had any forward line nous we would be half a chance. Off season need new forward line coach. Not out of it but making it hard for ourselves.

Spoke to Petty at quarter time, had surgery this week and is on crutches, cannot weight bear. Is out for the year. Said kicking 6 felt good, wished him all the best. Tall lad up close.

Tommy Mac playing well, as stated a few marks and involved. Dunstan getting a heap of it, Harmes playing midfield.

Add Jordon to that list as well

Am at the game. Players that are here that I’ll be watching are TMac, Harmes, Spargo, Shack, Woey, Dunstan, Jefferson. As stated no sign of Laurie or Thommo.

Happy for Top 4, but the win was a bit ‘meh’. Cannot see us winning 3 or 4 finals to be honest. No doubt we are competitive, just have far too many lapses in games. Forward craft still frustrating, we loved kicking it to Ned Reeves today, why on earth a big body doesn’t go up to compete baffles me. At least try get to the contest. Sometimes we just boot it into the 50 then hope and pray someone can mark. Lower the eyes please. Hoping for Pies week 1 👍👍
