Thank you, might reach double figures! It is currently in production, due sometime tomorrow.
You will get double figures from my family alone

Correct. Round 6, 1992 - 47 points in front right at the start of the fourth quarter and we stuffed it up. Still haunted, though last night has helped me come to terms with it a bit.
@Supermercado I cannot wait to read your Demonblog post when it comes out. You could be up for a record number of views this week.

I don't like being called the Melbourne Demons.
We are Melbourne, the dees or the demons.
Combining the city / suburb and team name is an NRL thing that a largely Sydney base media fail to recognise is not traditionally what happens in VFL / AFL.
Sydney Roosters, Melbourne Storm are what they are reffered to in NRL but it has crept into AFL reporting and I can't stand it.

I'm betting on the side that has had a season with a player who took the most intercept marks ever during the season and another player who had the most contested possessions ever in a season.
Two pretty vital stats in the modern game.
Go Dees!

Robbie was incomparable. He was that far ahead of all others.
Clarrie will one day be ranked second, if not already. But never equal or better.
If Clarry wins the norm smith this year I beg to differ.
I loved Robbie as does every other Melbourne supporter ever. This is not a knock on him.

It was like watching Brad Green and Cameron Bruce snatch that final off Carlton from know here.
Clayton Oliver is the best player in the game and big Maxy is the best captain.

Could get the 10 coaches votes tonight. Should win it.

Max the umpires pet. Now I've seen it all. I can't work out what half the rucking decisions that go against him are for. Neither can he.

there are no crowds tonight Right??
Was there going to be? I'm unsure. But with regional Vic going into lockdown again in just under an hour their definitely won't be now.

Ah, you are right @Wrecker46 - well spotted.
I only knew mate cause of a link you sent a few weeks ago saying Oliver needed 21 votes in the last 3 weeks to get the most coaches votes ever. So I've been following it closely. He's not going to get most ever but hopefully he wins it.

Bump!
You would assume Bontempeli will not get any votes (or very very few) from last nights match.
I'm assuming that
Boak would get 10 votes and the other major votes shared between Wines, perhaps Hunter and Macrae from the Dogs...Bontempeli for a max of 4 votes??
With Bontempeli trailing by 3 - Oliver would need to poll a min of 0 votes and a max of 1 votes to sew up the AFLCA tonight.
So, he probably has won the AFLCA.
But, does it translate to the Brownlow? And does that even matter?
A bonefide superstar, forgotten or not.
Are you sure Oliver leads by 3? I didn't think they published the last two rounds? I don't think Clarry would have polled very highly against Adelaide.

I love father son picks but not for Collingwood. JT rates Daicos. They will take him. JT doesn't get much wrong.

I was a little bit sceptical on the Covid vacines because of the way they were rushed out.
I'm no anti vaxer both myself and daughter have had all the appropriate vaccines.
Today I had my first Pfizer shot. No side effects. I didn't even feel it go in to be honest.
Let's all do it to get the state and country up and running again.
My biggest motivation was Melbourne might be in the GF this year. Who knows what will happen between now and then but I'm not missing because I haven't had a jab.

Amazingly I've got a cousin who played with Majak.
I've also got another cousin who was in the same friends circle as Toby Green.
You should come to our Christmas parties!
From what I understand Majak is a ripping bloke.Toby might need to work on that a bit.

The worst thing about this nomination is it ruins his odds for next year.

Just out of curiosity, what's the record for Rising Star nominations by one club in a season? I really can't imagine it being higher than our four.
Couple that with All Australian records. We could break both

At least when Dictator Dan locks us down.constantly we don't need to worry about having no home base and where we would go to celebrate after a premiership.

Bloody hell, I thought we won today.
I love Joeboys 3 word analysis and look forward to it every week.
If we do win the premiership I can't wait to see who he thinks played poorly.

When he starts clunking the ones he gets his hands on, Oliver, Petracca and Gawn might find they're not in contention for the best Melbourne player of a generation.

Hard to know what job Sparrow has. But he was poor again today. Three free kicks against won't endear him to the selectors.
Has some pace, doesn't mind mixing it and has decent skills. Maybe just needs confidence?
Will make way for Viney next week.
It depends on what type of free kicks you can't just look at the stats. Hibbo have away a classic professional free kick today where they would have been off with overlap but slowed it down and gave us time to reset

How I feel about other supporters who want to jump on our journey
in Melbourne Demons

I can understand the sentiment. I went week in and week out when we got thumped every week. When you are down and out out and get txts from people hanging [censored] on you. They won't be coming to my party.
There are lots of mates that sympathized with me over that period. They are welcome on the bandwagon and are jumping on.
