  1. That may be the case, but we seem to trade back into the draft each year (and hope we don’t have two 1sts for Kozzy too)
  2. I know this means nothing now, but a couple of years ago, when we were tying to get rid of TMac, and no one was wanting him, the Pies were actually looking at him. Not sure why it didn't eventuate, but I'm glad it didn't, and Tom stayed with us and played well the following year. At the time I was told this, I said to the Pies guy "you obviously aren't a Dees supporter, or you would never be looking at TMac". Shows how much I knew lol
  3. This is what I’ve thought is the best case scenario (not what I agree with, and hopefully I’m wrong). It would be better than using the Dogga picks imo. First rounder is what I was told, from the Pies end, and I posted it, quite a while ago, for those who remember. Still hope it’s a 2nd rounder though.
  4. So if, for example, we said we would pay the extra $300,000 a year, for 5 years, but received a 1st from the Pies for Grundy, would it be worth it? Would it depend on how high the 1st was? Or would we rather the $, to spend on other players, this year, or in the future?
  5. You would hope so, and a 1st rounder at that
  6. If this happens, I wonder if we would have already agreed on a pick that we already have, from this year or next (hopefully not next years 1st rounder)
  7. I wonder if this changes out trading/recruiting at all
  8. Yeah I agree we need a forward, preferably a key forward, and another skilled player. Just haven’t really been linked to anyone else good atm. Maybe we get someone good off the Dockers, although I doubt it
  9. Even if all we do is bring in Grundy, and draft 2 first rounders, I’ll be happy
  10. I put some $ on Miller, at $9.50. Probably won’t win, but will be happy if he does
  11. Henry was a Freo academy player, who we could get on the cheap
  12. I think he agreed that 2 & 20 seemed fair
  13. If I remember correctly, your last rumour post was very boring and predictable
  14. At the very least, it would give Kosi another good mate at the club
  15. So we are the club who went up to watch him?
  16. I thought the same, except we get pick 20 & trade it, instead of pick 26. And yes, I would be very happy!
  17. I would rather trade our 2023 1st for Grundy, & back ourselves in to finish up high again Would also fit with our pattern of trading out our future picks too
  18. From the myheartbeatstrue instagram page: Melbourne is reportedly among three clubs circling Fremantle ruckman Lloyd Meek 24 years old/203cm/110kg I like it! edit. I just found out this isn’t new news. Sorry, I hadn’t heard it
  19. I heard this from someone, and posted it a while ago. Hoping to be proven wrong!
