OH NO!!!!!!!!!!
-
Just no confidence in their team mates.
It shows up really really bad.
-
Only bright spot of first quarter is Grimes.
The guy is A - Grade material
-
clear free kick to bater for a hold missed.
jones gets caught holding the ball after he handballs the ball
It's not our day
That's the worst goal of the year
-
Once again we had about 10 guys around the ball, turn it over and adelaide scores.
Why can't we go hard at the football instead of hard AROUND the football
-
anyone watching the game? have adelaide's shots on goal been under pressure or have we been lucky? not a great start despite all our "talk" about starting well...
Tippet has missed one 20 out in front and they should have had another couple. Just kicked their second
-
Once again we can't get it past the wing
-
Out: Luke Ball (groin), Ben Johnson (ankle)
The two guys I'd like to boo the most are gone :-(
-
That's our clash jumper this year. No predominant red jumper or anything.
If you ask me every team should have a mainly white clash jumper with the team logo across the front (e.g. Doggies, Freo, Brisbane, St Kilda and now Melbourne). That includes you Essendon and Collingwood
If I was Essendon, Collingwood etc I would have a change strip soccer style, absolutely no resemblence to your normal strip whatsoever. Make it yellow or green or something like that. Market it as an away strip and watch it fly out the merchandise stand. Change it every two years and bingo, a ready made revenue stream.
But they all have this "tradition, blah, blah, blah" bollocks going on so this will never happen
-
how much do we miss anybody not named Rivers?
Can't keep up with his man, can't catch or punch the ball
The guy next to me was convinced they play him as trade bait for the Gold Coast so Petterd doesn't leave
-
We sit in the top level of the ponsford stand in the disabled seats with the boys, unless there are too many disabled people (collingwood games)
We love it up there, never too many people
-
Did anybody else here watch him play for Coburg against Casey?
If you did you know the answer, NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Jake Spencer is being taken from the field with a leg injury. Stretcher job.
Do they make stretchers that big?
-
If rivers gets another game..... well i won't believe it...........
-
What is the point of resting two of your best players and bringing in Bruce. Surely bruce won't play!
because we ain't gonna win but we CAN beat carlton next weekend.
-
Out - Rivers can't catch the ball, can't keep up with an opponent.
Wonna, not up to it yet
someone else for team balance because of Geelong's gorrillas
In - Bruce, can catch a ball and keep up with an opponent
Bate, need him
Warnock, to take care of a gorilla or two
-
Jurrah, Bennel, Wona, Davey sounds a whole lot better than Betts, Yarran, Garlett
As much as I'd like to agree with you. Betts, Yarran have been very solid
-
will not be broken. simple as that 99,000 will never be reached in a home and away game on a Friday night.
-
there is no way on God's Green Earth you could get me to that place again. Not until they get rid of that God awful terrace at one end
-
I'd suggest you look up what we drew against them last year at the G...
yes we were terrible last year and North Melbourne aren't
-
If that was me I would have taken him out.
Someone headbutted Brown and he'll get rubbed out
Mitchell will get nothing - which is a shame
Hawthorn aren't much chop are they? If Richmond had a forward line other than Rewoldt they would have smashed them
-
I actually agree with BBP.
I really think Brad Miller would have been a big difference out there yesterday. We needed a leading target at half forward. All we had was PJ.
Brad Miller will play next week. And deserves his chance.
He is still a certain de-listing at the end of the year.
No what we needed was a forward coach that instructed his FORWARDS to start in the FORWARD 50, not the wing. We got horribly outcoached, we do not need Brad Miller. I don't care how many goals he's kicked in the VFL. Went last weekend and he's still a spud. Just NO, NO, NO
If he is a certain de-listing at the end of the year (and he is) why play him? We need to play players that might be in our next premiership winning team and he won't be
-
I know Miller is our favourite whipping boy and he's border line AFL standard but who else do we have up forward? Who can we honestly say was our full forward today? They had McKinley, Kennedy and Lynch as their FF options...we had who??
The guy has been performing CONSISTENTLY at VFL level and a 7 week penance (crap Rd 1) is enough. Bring him in along with Morton and Wonna and lets start kicking goals again.
Talking at a north supporter from Perth at the game today he would say this about west coast:
Mckinley isn't AFL standard
Lynch couldn't get a kick in the WAFL and wasn't sure how he got a call up other than Worsford has been panicking because he wants to keep his job, the media have been all over him out west.
I would take exception to your comments about Miller in the VFL, having seen him twice in the last 3 weeks he just butchers too much ball. Maybe people need to get to Casey games themselves before plumbing for guys like Miller
-
We are trying to build our next premiership team which will contain neither Miller, nor Newton.
Neither should get into the team it's simple as that.
Going by your logic we should have kept Robbo.....
Round 14 Injury Update
in Melbourne Demons

Interesting to see Macca listed as 1-2 weeks, Didn't look that bad on game day, but clearly it was. They were trying to coax the opposition into thinking he might play and really there wasn't any chance at all
