  2. It's not about you mate, or a couple of bucks. It's about our club playing a home game where we rightfully belong.

I know it's not about me. But it is about 20,000 people that can't go. It's also about the $100,000 that we WILL lose on that game. Do we want to be North Melbourne?

  3. http://www.theage.com.au/national/afl-bloc...90529-bpgx.html

    common sense prevails...(not)

There will be some unhappy cats and saints fans

    but we are :D

I'm not. As an AFL member this would be much easier for me to go to if it's at the MCG. Along with about 20.000 extra people. Plus the money Melbourne would have received for the swap would have helped because the game against Port will surely be a loss making venture. Why have a "best fit" policy if it's "too hard to move a game"? These guys are the most incompetent bunch of idiots imaginable.

Although there are rumblings that Eat - A - Turd stadium would sue, which might have put the AFL off a tad.

  4. I watched the replay of the game ucanchoose, but making a statement such as Davey has no defensive pressure without any examples makes your argument lack any real substance. I think Davey has terrific defensive pressures and runs back to provide help better than most players. Regardless of the game being our of our reach, or in your case the "cue" back in the "rack", who else would have made that chase on Muston? I couldn't name one of our players and nor could you.

You don't see these things on tv. watching the replay of the game would be useless.

  5. did you catch aaron daveys 100 metre chase on beau muston in the last quarter?

Yes. When the game was long gone. And the cue was well and truely in the rack.

  6. Davey did not start the game as a forward and it is not his role to impart defensive pressure I believe thats is Petterd's role.

It is everybody's role, when we don't have the ball

  7. Im not sure how you expect him to put on defensive pressure with a guy up him bum all the time.

He wasn't us his bum. He was 20 metres in the clear time and time again while davey was ball watching the square

  8. I don't know how many were at the game, but whoever was on Davey, and it varied a bit, had a clear run on the turnover so many time I nearly popped a [censored]. He got caught ball watching sooo many times in the square when his man was running to the open wing. Did anybody else watch this game with me? Needs a good boot up the backside this weekend.

  9. My wife was a clean slate so that was easy. But a carer at my son's preschool has taught him (2) to say "Go Blues"

It shits me no end. So you say "who's gonna win", answer "blues"

Although he does love the Deeman so he'll soon snap out of it

  10. Melbourne end the season with pick 4 (Cale Morton).

So many people wanted us to lose that game. But if we lost this game we wouldn't have one CALE MORTON. I'll take that over two other draft picks thankyou very much

  11. I've got a four year old that loves the footy so I'll be there. My life wouldn't be worth living if we didn't go.

This is coming from a 4 year old who can spot Colin Sylvia 100 yards away and says "he'll miss that, Dad!"

Wouldn't miss it for the world.

  12. Cancel St Kildas home game on the GC against us. Move it back to Dock Land$ stadium and win win for all!

As stated this cannot happen. This is the last year of the North Melbourne 3 games on the coast deal. St Kilda, Carlton and Richmond each take up the slack with one home game. No way on God's green earth will this occur.

  13. It doesn't strike me as a fair or reasonable thing to do, it's about money grubbing and nothing else.

It's not just about that. It's about getting as many people as possible to see the game. What happens if they don't shift this game ( probably the most anticipated of the year) and 30,000 people are shut out, plus all the poor bastards that can get into the game on time and end up standing in a queue till quarter time at Eat A Turd Stadium.

Then what happens? The talkback lights up like a christmas tree, the media on monday take the AFL to the cleaners and make them look like an incompetent load of hags. There have been games in the last couple of years that probably should have been shifted too! A PR disaster.
