Welcome to Demonland - Picks 18 & 19
See my previous post. Could on the money, might not, but it half explains the strategy of using next year's round one pick (even if we finish 9th again it's 1465 points from memory).

Welcome to Demonland - Picks 18 & 19
I think it could be strategic. Maybe we have a father son who we rate round oneish, I'm thinkingperhaqps someone from WA whose dad was a fan favourite. Oh yeah, he won a Brownlow too.

Farewell Braydon Preuss
What did we pay for him from North?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Pick 50 = 273, so pick 26 (729) + 273= 1002

AFL Trade Radio
Maybe we could give Roos the Preuss pick if that ever eventuates.

TMac on the Trade Table?
Now that the Bombres have 2m Peter they won't want T Mac, so luckily for us we won't have to deal with Dodo. I feel sorry in a way for the teams that do.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Melksham this year was very ineffectual. I hope if he gets a game next year it's because his form warrants it, same with Jones if he deserves a game he might make it to 300. We must stop picking players who aren't performing regardless of whether they are mates with the coach or if they are close to a milestone. It's a team game, the team comes first.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Part of me wanted Hogan back. At 55 that is a steal if he plays to his potential.
-
Isaac Smith
Can we close this down now, I'm happy he didn't come because 3 years was a stretch.

Nathan Jones Locked in for 2021
I knew he wouldn't, hopefully he does the team first thing and plays a mentor role at Casey after he gets to 300. Alternatively if his form doesn't warrant a game I hope he accepts it and plays that mentor role. He's always struck me as a player who puts his needs first, hopefully I'm wrong.

You've got mail
Rumour about Hannan was on the money, he's requested a trade home to Dogland.
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
How, by keeping out of the side. If they both play, Baker wouldn't get many minutes on the wing even if they rotated him with Langdon & Smith. Not a fan of Smith, he is a butcher with the ball, rather try Baker/Hunt or go after Hunter if we def want to bring in a wing.

Adam Treloar
A year would be okay, 2 maybe, 3 a big no.
-
Farewell Mitch Hannan
He's Mr 20%, he plays really well once every 5 weeks.
-
Farewell Mitch Hannan
Definitely keep Hunt.

TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
Hannan is a very frustrating player, I'd rather we free up a list spot. Not sold on AVB, like Hunt as a forward/wing.

Viney Signs Until 2025
Positive news. Let's hope he repays the contract with team footy and tackles the opposition so hard that they cry.

Time to have a talk about Jayden
Melksham frustrates me - he does sweet nothing and does these feeble tackling attempts.
-
Oliver Rumours on Footy Classified
Would rather than Harmes than Gus.He has a higher footy IQ and is a much better player.
-
John Northey on the Front Bar
Wonder which ones???
-
Mitch Hannan - wing?
Trouble with him is thinks he's in the army. He then goes awol far too often. Plays 1 good impact game in 5, hard to carry someone like that. He's always done it and probably always will.

Tom McDonald
I agree Maldon, he is either carrying an injury or too much weight - he is an endurance beast, so with the correct management he could and should turn it around.
-
Farewell Braydon Preuss
Need more than 39 - he cost us a pick in the 20s from memory and now it's a sellers market.
