  1. Correct....We've become so accustomed to the value of draft picks over the past ten years, its become like an addiction to hold onto them for dear life...
  2. Mate, anything that has Terry dick head Wallace's name attached is pure tripe.
  3. He's reading from the AFL site so you're not even comparing the same articles. Everybody relax...
  4. Agreed, if that deal gets done it's Lever for pick 10 and an approx 5-8 spot downgrade. Sign the bloody papers.
  5. Yeah possibly...it did mention the possibility of other pick exchanges..I'd like to think that would be the case..
  6. Agreed. This next year is a superdraft stuff gives me the runs. On top of what you've already said..the player drafted this year has already been in the system for a year and is further developed. A club in our position wants players ready to go sooner rather than later..
  7. I took the article as saying what you've said, but we hand over our Watts compo as well...so: Out: Pick 10, next years 1st round pick and Watts compo pick. In: Lever, pick 18 (if Cameron deal gets done)
  8. Proposing at 21 years of age? He can't be too smart then..
  9. Levers Manager Guy has just been announced as Collingwoods new list manager.
  10. Adelaide are in damage control after the train wreck that was their Grand Final performance. They are just showing their supporters they are still "in control" of all of this..
  11. Geelong gave up picks 9 and 28 for Dangerfield. Coughing up 10 and 27 would be a slap in the face for our clubs negotiation skills. Lever may be a decent player...but he is nowhere near a Patrick Dangerfield!
  12. So that would be picks 10, 27 and Watts for Lever...Jaysus!! If that was the case, let him go to Collingwood!
  13. Cannot believe he doesn't get spoken about in higher regard by the "experts". Each week his stats, especially contested possessions seem to just get passed over..
  14. The "football world" can go and get [censored]. This bloke is the exact type of bloke you want standing next to you if you were in the trenches.
  15. I had no idea either...but that's a good thing, because it doesn't matter.
  16. Most amazing game I've seen. GO CUBS!!! Woooooo
  17. I'm a 28 year Cubs fan and cannot wait for tomorrow. I haven't missed a Cubs post season game this year. I'm taking half a day off work to go home, crack a beer and watch it! They just need to hit their way past Kluber! GO CUBS!!!
  18. Depends whether we intend to take the pick into the draft, or use it to trade with in order to land someone this trade period.
  19. Might also force their hand into taking next year's second round pick.
  20. I understand there are possibly underlying personal reasons for Jesse being afforded trips home to Perth periodically, however would other WA born players (any interstate players) on our list be granted the same if they requested it? Full credit to the club for managing Jesse to the best of their ability in order to keep him happy, but is it potentially to the detriment of other players? I honestly don't know and it is a genuine question on my behalf. We need to retain him, but I hope it's not egg shell stuff going on....the tail should not be wagging this new dog!
  21. I wont be watching...but can someone please keep a tally of how many times he uses the word "obviously".
  22. Both potentially available at pick 6?
  23. Ill be honest...i know NOTHING about this years potential draftees... If we maintain pick 6 and dont land Parish...who are we likely to get best case? Surely there will be some form of potential gun up for grabs at pick 6?
