Swans supporters are some of the worst at the moment. Last two games I attended weren't great experiences, one of their supporters heckled me pretty bad on the way home, thought seriously about having a go at him. Agree it would be very satisfying to thrash them.

I'd be impressed if anyone tipped that...or, assuming hallucinatory episode prior to game...

And Kane Cornes misrepresenting it and launching a controversial narrative.

This is good in that I’ll have a great sledge for those smug Swans fans (oh the bloods the bloods) - give me strength. A good knock back for their supporters who think their players have more heart than others.* (* I also hate Geelong though)

Agree with all, especially Sydney. I know most teams are unbearable after a win, but in my experience, none worse than the smug Swans supporters this year - I had a couple of run-ins after our two losses, and I was just walking along minding my own business. (Maybe it was my big guns that provoked them and their insecurities...or not...)

Time to hold an independent inquiry into that. Super dodgy.

A few notes of thanks: (and a dig) - to the Dees supporters around us in N53 who got fired up in the second half when we were doing some big chants. (To the flogs who thought the Bears supporters were louder - total &$@! My ears and throat are feeling it this morning!) - to Petty, Brayshaw, ANB, Tracc, Oliver, Langers: you gave us some great moments and put in everything last night, I thought - to the Bears supporters generally: your captain is the joke of the competition, nobody likes him. It sucks, but let’s go again next year. I’ll be there.

I’d like some discussion on why some teams “match up” well against other teams…Sydney and Collingwood have great records against us lately…how can this be? How could Norf beat us 20 times in a row? (Admittedly during the Great Deepression) How can we have the Lions’ measure? Surely the personnel shift too much year to year to be a true ‘match up’ thing. Does it speak more of the mental side of sport? (Which is huge) Binman often criticizes people ignoring loading in favour of ‘mental weakness’, but surely the mental side of things is quite a significant factor…is it game style match ups? Eg Lions play ultra attacking, we’re built for defense first - so the margins for error are smaller…

Yep - they had 4 or 5 relatively easy chances to ice the game in the last 15 minutes, and botched every single one of them. Just one of those goals would have killed the Pies' momentum, especially one of the later ones. Missing goals can be such a big thing. And, look at a couple of the goals that the Pies got in the final quarter: two on the boundary from a long way out.
