The five players you want to have an impact in 2021
Half forward flank replied to Krackered's topic in Melbourne Demons
Add Gawn to this list and raffle one of the other players would wrk as well. Jackson a smokey. -
No, lets be accurate. You said he gained degrees overseas. Now you say he studied in his own time and initiative. Again inaccurate, it was Club orgainised. I will give him credit when he improves his match day decision making and we consistently make the finals. Until then he is just another average coach getting paid very big dollars by community standards with a limited education.

I feel Goodys comment is not entirely correct or if it is Barlett is not doing his job. To say they spoke at length and Barlett only being supportive sounds odd. Surely Barlett has said, words to the effect. We need and expect results. You are now fully equipped with players and capable coaching staff, we support you, but its time for results.

MFC the source of all truths.

Interesting stuff DJ. And again shows for some keen fans it could be a very relaxing place to watch a training session or practice match with a few more touches of asthetics and community involvement. Suasage sizzle is pretty simple to either run or get someone like Rotary involved. Operators wouuld be lining up to do a coffee cart at even low numbers like one to two thousand.

My Crystal Ball for 2021 Demons have 10,000 fans at Casey for training session before Final. Now that would put a different perspective on things, The Club needs to make the facility enticing for supporters so they spend several hours at when make the trip to Casey. A cafe or coffee cart, some memorabilia for kids, sausage sizzle and so on. It requires a different think as we likely wont get the supporters who just check training out for half an hour.. It needs to be an experience.

I know a number of people who live in those sub divisions. One family lives within a 2 minute walk of a park with a basketball practice area, kids playground and BBQ. And another new school opening within a year. What you describe, although exaggerated and untrue is little different than the development of Eastern suburbs like Doncaster and Templestowe 50 years ago. More relevant to MFC is the area is full of young families and it is proven footy, AFL, provides a fantastic pathway to intergration and community. So lets make MFC a destination club for these kids through our on the plate facility at Casey.

I think you need to go check out the Casey basketball stadium, Full of happy, fit kids and adults playing morning, noon and nights. Future slums? Just a slur on the people who live and work in the area. The old guard like you just reinforce why the MFC should change direction. Fortunately I think Casey will be a big part of MFC future.

Great stuff, also Casey has the Basketball stadium. With a little vision you can imagine this area in 10 to 20 years.

Sure do remember him.

Eddie did a fantastic job for his Club, few mistakes, for sure, but hats off to him for being a football person.

My memory was a combination of attitude and poor developmentt by the Club but he could certainly play. -

And I will add who Dave Williams. He could have been special without injury. Remember he played against Carlton one day. memory? I suspected the oldish star Blue he played on did not get him a lot of respect. One a three times Premiership player and another a no name player. Williams led and took him on a merry dance. Kicked a few but a lot of points and scoring shots later, he had likely earned some respect. Memory is hazty but think he was either left out or played out of position in a major game later on. -

I would add Fidge to the list. I remember he kicked a bag on Silvani in a reserves final early days. -

Dean really added some X factor to us at the time. He was a tough match up. -
Mark Williams New Head of Development

Are you saying he should not have won Premierships so he could be better placed in 2020 -
I think you are just trying to Break my balls. Of course Jordan lewis has more to offer than me regarding football.. He is a 4 times Premiership player. Why would you say you are still keen to see my psycology degree when I said I havent got one and this is an anonmymous site? Very odd. And whats your post being deleted hot to do with me?
-
Dont agree, thought he commanded things in a few wins that helped make the finals. Not everyone has to go for the same ball, Melb midfield style. At Hawthorn when winning premierships some went for the ball, others did off ball work, some ran forward to space, some ran back to defend.
-
Do you not think Jordan lewis is a quality person with something to offer?

I think Rivers will be better than Salem. Think Salem ahead of Hibberd though.
