Massive mistake if we trade Weid, if he's fit this year is perfect to play him every game together with T Mac to work on cohesion

I agree with your post, i can see the fast ball moving game style we want to pursue and when it works it looks good, but we need to be able to change gears and tempo during game to catch the opposition out. If we can mix this chaotic style with some more controlled passages of play like hitting up leads inside 50 we will be very dangerous. I feel we have to work way to hard to score a goal and the opposition just seam to hit up a lead and score. I have no problems with the selection this week although I'd like to see Weed and T Mac in together both flying for Marks

The pies are well coached and have improved their kicking skills out of sight, hoping we can do the same! But I think Gawn is better then Grundy and Trac way better the degoye

Think most would agree our 1st 22 looks the goods on paper, but on form we are playing like a bottom 4 side. I'd like Goodwin to change things up a bit, firstly I'd bring Harmes into the forward line maybe even out of the goal square ( remember him kicking 3 in a Quater against the saints a couple years back) he could rotate through the middle with Trac or Clarry when they need a spell. I'd then use Jones or Lockhart in defense. Like to know what everyone thinks? I feel Harmes was just starting to really flourish as a mid who could kick goals and we moved him back?? The other really puzzling thing is why we are not playing the Weed as a leading full forward I see him turning into a Lloyd type if we can get the best out of him. I'd play him every week ask him to lead out at the ball instead of kicking it on his head in 3 v1s

I'm now in the process of watching the replay, I always do no matter the result, but what I continue to see at Melbourne is too many players look to be labouring to get into defensive position and this is magnified against the better team's in the comp untill we have it ingrained in our DNA to run hard both ways we will be mid table at best
