When watching the game live I have the sound muted (I can’t handle BT) but just finished watching the replay with the sound on and I have to say our Sydney based brethren were magnificent. I’m not sure how many were there but you certainly generated plenty of noise and I’m sure helped lift the team. I hope as many of you as possible can make it along to the SCG for the QB game.

From an individual perspective it has to TMac. Phenomenal what he has done. Collectively our team defense starting with May and Lever through to Spargo, ANB and Kozzie in the forward half has been a revelation for me this year.

A lot of venting goes on in the game day thread. I tend to view in the same way I look at MFCSS. It’s just the way some people feel and express themselves. I don’t get too worked up about it. The persecution complex is the one I find hardest to fathom. It takes a very brave poster to defend the umpires or to suggest that there isn’t a nefarious conspiracy by AFL House, the media, rival clubs, the illuminati, the reptilian elite, who are all plotting against us. Nobody has ever explained why they are all out to get us.

We have to persevere with Sam. He does some good things at different times but hasn’t quite put it all together. The double-grabbing is the worry for me. If he can make 2-3 more marks a game stick then his confidence will rise and he will kick on Chocco gave him a huge rap over the pre-season comparing him to Tredrea. The coaching team have faith him so I think we should as well. I have a vision of him kicking a bag against the pies. Wouldn’t it be something to see a Weideman putting them to the sword. An added bonus would be having Eddie commentating while he does it.

I'm loving this team and loving this season.
