The Eagles at Optus is a tough fixture. Their form has been very poor recently but they have the talent. If they decide to turn it on tonight it’ll make for a difficult game for us. I think we are over our patch of iffy form. We brought the heat early last week and snuffed out the Suns without too much trouble. We’ll need to bring the same pressure and application tonight. Seems genuinely excited. Her comments about her struggles during Covid certainly ring true and explain her poor form for Carlton last year. Massive stuff up by them letting her go but its our gain. If she works hard and gets back to close to her best she’ll be a serious weapon for us and give us that forward target we were crying out for last year. Great to have you back Tayla. Beating the Eagles gives us the luxury of securing Top 4 with 2 games to spare. We can play the final 2 games with less pressure so can build our form. It also gives us a chance to manage players who are carrying niggles. Huge incentive to beat the Eagles and i think we will
