Farewell Luke Jackson
thats not many but we drafted a lot of duds before JT arrived so clubs wouldn't want to bring our players home anyways

Matthew Stokes on Melbourne
Need to start bringing the heat and i expect we will over the next 4 games. Would be very disappointed if we exit season 22 with a whimper

Petty must play forward ( if fit )
Not knocking the idea but i think Petty is just too good a defender so i say leave him where he is Perhaps try Tomlinson forward if you absolutely have to, but thats a low probability punt i reckon We did score 100 points on the weekend with the Weid contributing so maybe its not the talls that are the biggest problem. Forward half pressure is absent at the moment so sorting that out if probably the more pressing issue

Farewell Luke Jackson
I'm not sure either tbh Last year Cerra wanted to come to us (allegedly), but because we couldn't get the deal done went to Carlton instead. Apparently he didn't want Freo to get dudded in a trade with us (as we didn't have the capital to satisfy the dockers) My hope is Luke doesn't push for the move if Freo can't come up with a reasonable trade. He's getting offered a lot of cash though (allegedly) so there a big incentive there for him to insist on moving

Farewell Luke Jackson
If Luke: - gives his all for the rest of the season and contributes to another flag - ensures we get looked after in any trade with Freo he will leave with my blessing and best wishes. I'll be disappointed he's gone but such is life. We can then keep ourselves occupied speculating on who we use the picks on we'll receive

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
The draw on Friday night has cost Freo Top 4. Some posters seemed to think the draw wasn't much different to a win
-
NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
I give them about a 5% chance of winning the flag They are playing out of their skin at the moment. McRae has done an outstanding job with them but they will not maintain this level for another 2 months imo

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
As much as i wanted to see Geelong and the pies lose the fact is we need to take care of our own business. We get our act together and start playing the way we know we can then it doesn't matter what the others do.

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
And by the way Jamie Elliott is all class. Superb footballer who has had to deal with horrendous injuries over his career

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
How in the name of God have Essendon just allowed Collingwood to go coast to coast with 45 seconds on the clock. Indescribably stupid. they deserve to lose
-
NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
The level of dumb footy being played by Essendon is breath taking. They are doing their best to lose

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Next goal wins

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
We'll have the consolation of laughing at the bombers if they manage to lose this
-
NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Bombers overuse of the handball could be their undoing here
-
NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Bombers lacking composure inside 50. snatching at chances. they just need to settle and they'll run over the top of the pies easy

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
I can't watch this. I'm going for a walk instead.
-
NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
They finish the H&A against us, Swans and Carlton. That run of games will give us a good idea of how they'll fare come finals

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Far out. ginnivan had his head almost taken off. No free kick. It was a free for sure
-
NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Watching the pies play this well is sickening

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Unusually after a loss I had a great sleep last night. I'm tip top this morning The inside 50 tackle count is the canary in the goldmine. Forward pressure is our first line of defence and when it don't happen it puts us on the back foot straight away. I reckon this will be priority no. 1 for the coaching team this week Dogs attacked through Lingers wing all night as well. This never happened last year Now that this loading bollocks is over I expect to see us holding onto leads and closing out games from here We've been there or thereabouts the last few weeks. There's plenty of upside to look forward to over the next 2 months so jump on for the ride folks. It's all to play for and we're in it up to our necks Go Dees

Farewell Sam Weideman
Just doesn't compete. It's a fatal flaw for a KPF. The rest of his game is pretty good so I believe he can find a spot on another AFL list as a leading 3rd forward perhaps Comes across as a smashing bloke but he and the club need to move on from each other during the trade period

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
I say give BB another week to reclaim fitness. Forward functioned well so no need to rush him back In Lever Out Tommo
