I agree with your wins here. Perhaps Sydney rd23 depending on whether they need to win could go against us. I think we're a real chance to beat the cats down at mordor. They're in bad shape and their home ground win streak was broken by GWS on the weekend We'll beat the Saints and Crows as well. Crows away very patchy I reckon we'll fish with 16 wins which should get us top 4. 14 wins worst case scenario which means we're just making up the numbers.

I actually agree with this. The G is too cavernous for a 25k crowd. There was 33k at the Crows Lions game yesterday and even though a not much bigger crowd than Saturday the noise levels were much higher.

It would be great if all these new members turned up to the G.

Crows are more than a handful at home. I think we got lucky to be playing them at the G this year. They're away form is very patchy. They were bog ordinary against the doggies last week.

My point is we can’t go gung ho immediately because the pies are much better at the attacking brand than we are. They’ve be doing it for 18 months now. I reckon we should try to pinch Leppa off them or hire a similarly minded assistant to join our coaching team. I’m not sure we have the skills to execute like the pies do but that’s the way the game is going. We have to move with the times. In terms of what to do in the immediate term I’d bring BB in and drop JVR (he needs a spell). Bring in a 3rd tall defender which might help Lever regain his form. Maybe get the ball into Salems and Bowey hands and ask them to hit the corridor more. Put a rocket under our small brigade and tell them to get their collective finger out, including kossie.

I was on level 4 in a sparsely populated bay. There were no shouts of encouragement or any vocals at all from the Dees in the bay. I was probably being a bit of goose but jesus you can show some emotional investment. Get off your seat and cheer/vent once in a while. Way too reserved and timid.

I love our AFLW team. Plenty of heart and grit just like the boys. But they have one thing the boys don’t have. a dominant KPF! Would make a big difference.

I agree. Some critical posts about him but to me he has some poise and composure which the team sorely lacks at the moment. And there was one instance where he turned side on to the contest, won the ball and kick passed 15 meters or so to a teammate. So some saying he's soft is off the mark as well. Plenty of problems at the moment but Salem isn't one of them.

Funny you mention that instance. I was looking side on and as soon as ANB got the ball I was screaming at him to kick long to Fritsch who was running towards the top of the square. The ball over the top was the obvious play. Instead, he beckoned to Fritsch to come short. Fritsch checked his run and came short. That’s when the stuff up with Spargs happened. ANB should have gone long. Instead, another bad decision and butchered opportunity. Harmes was horrendous. Why TF would you try to dab a 4 meter kick to a teammate. Handball for [censored] sake. Been a big defender of Spargs but he's adding nothing at the moment. Chandler after a purple patch when he came into the side was anonymous yesterday.

Everything is so painfully laboured. Moving the ball seems like such hard work. Our handballs cause the receiver the break stride. No flow or fluency at all. No connection. I suggest the team head off to Bali during the bye and blow off some steam (I'm half serious). Find some joy because at the moment we're playing joyless footy.

ANB tries his guts out. And i love him for it. He's a top-class character. Ball in hand he is the worst player in the league. Yesterday was pathetic. I can't believe his tackling and effort is enough to compensate for his inability to handball 3 meters to a teammate. As soon as he got the ball the passage of play broke down. Every time. there has to a better option

Jackson took Maxy to the cleaners yesterday at center ball bounces. It was painful to watch.
