  1. she's had a few lazy efforts so far but she's one of the few game changers in AFLW
  2. strange umpiring
  3. fantastic move and goal to Hore. top notch after a pretty sloppy start to tis quarter from us.
  4. play in front zanker
  5. who is the female commentator cheer leading for the cats. she's a nuffie.
  6. second to the ball so far. cats bringing it early. girls need to left
  7. The girls are sticking their tackles early.
  8. Solid citizen. Wish him nothing but the best. He's a best 25 player for us and got squeezed out. It happens. I would be surprised if he goes to another level at Sydney but will be delighted for him if he does.
  9. Well thats no good. I'm sure JT will run the rule over him before we'd consider any trade and i have total faith in his judgment. I'm confident we'll make the right call. Perhaps he has been unsettled in Sydney from the get-go which has impacted his development? Change of environment might be what he needs??
  10. Cadman I’m unsure about. He won’t come cheap and has yet to show if he will realise his potential?
  11. Pettys injury profile is not good. Relying on him to be our KPF is a risk.
  12. Game day! Looking forward to this one. Great way to kick off the long weekend. The boys struggle in Mordor but I back the girls to get it done this evening. Geelong have improved as their results show but we’re a step up in class for them. They’ll challenge early but our quality will tell in the finish. dees by 25 points.
  13. I don’t know on what basis the pies can renege on paying Grundy. They committed to paying him twice. When they signed him to the original contact and when they traded him to us. Grundy will be paid his full whack with the pie’s contributing their share.
  14. Options are limited. I’d take him. Fantastic contested marking ability. Chocco would help sort his kick for goal technique.
  15. I'm in the corporate sector. any firm organised event needs to be supervised including any after parties. OH&S requirements apply (there are some funny stories. there's always one). Staff are free to socialise together in their spare time and many do. as not firm sanctioned we don't need to worry from an OH&S perspective. Football clubs are different in that the staff are well known footballers. If they head out and about in Melbourne they'll be seen by the general public. I've run into footy players back in the day in various states of intoxication. Whatever about OH&S, the PR aspect means the club will want to know what the players are up to and who they are socialising with. And Mad Monday may not be club sanctioned but it's so well-known its quite likely OH&S applies. If I'm the club i would make it a club mandated event so i can ensure it doesn't go off the rails. If i was player, I'd be heading overseas. Vegas would be my go. Nobody knows who you are so if you do get in trouble much less likely to be front page news. No excuse for players to get in trouble on Mad Monday in Melbourne. Not very clever at all (Jordan De Goey would be a likely suspect though).
  16. The boys should be allowed to unwind and relax a little. It's a long season. the problem is nowadays with smart phones and journalists it can attract unwanted attention. There has to be some kind of club oversight to make sure nothing happens that can reflect badly on the club. Which kind of defeats the purpose of mad Monday. No fun if the boss is supervising. That said I don't think the young ones today are as big into the booze as older generations. I'm not sure whether they have much interest in it anymore.
  17. Campbell has been very good this season so far. She’s an excellent long term prospect. Good to see Colvin make in the side after that long term injury. Hopefully she can find her rhythm quickly.
  18. what do we offer North. I don't think picks alone gets it done
  19. Would you swap Petty (significantly improves North defensively) and pick 13 for Larkey? I reckon I would (Petty is great but you would have to offer up something valuable). North have to get an established player. Picks alone no good. I'm concerned with Petty's injury record so could be convinced to sacrifice him. That could be win win? maybe? Larkey and JVR together sorts our KPF situation for years to come.
  20. We need a Charlie Curnow thread
  21. Entice Taylor walker to cross on a 2-year deal. better chance of a flag before he retires (although i tip the Crows to play finals next year)
  22. NFL

We need a new QB. Dak isn't good enough, he isn't top echelon like you say. When the pressure comes on he throws interceptions.
  23. Have you been texting SEN @Nudge 😀
  24. Sensible point. I looked at the North Lions game last weekend. We're ahead of both teams in my opinion. I haven't seen the Crows play yet. We have a very balanced team. Good defensively, run off half back, a great ruck combo in Pearce and Campbell, tough contested mids, Hanks, outside run with Mackin, x factor with Bannan and the best KPF pair in Zanker and Harris in the league. We're going to be hard to stop. Prelim for sure and just a matter of whether injuries or bad luck derail us. Which can always happen of course.
  25. Midfielders award adjudicated by amateurs. Rapidly losing relevancy
