Thought he had retired already. When i saw this thread pop up i assumed we had taken him on in some sort of coaching role
  2. Legend player. up there with the greats 3 norm smiths. that will never be matched. definition of a big game player and he may as well trademark the fend off
  3. This idea is a crock
  4. He won us a flag so deserves respect. Has come through adversity before. Hopefully can do so again and lead us to number 14
  5. Huge tank. Not many in the AFL with his stamina levels. Recent form has been very good and deserves an extension.
  6. That west coast team partied hard. I hope that a difference rather than a similarity with our boys.
  7. Hawks lose. thank christ
  8. well done Jesse game on go Giants
  9. The Hawks are good again. So annoying.
  10. Pendlebury has been a great player. 400 games is an amazing achievement. And he played well tonight. i reckon he'll go around again.
  11. Jeremy howe can get in the bin
  12. i think doggies are the form team in the comp. if they can finish top 4 i'd give them as a good a chance any of winning it
  13. that was some handball from daicos out of stoppage. 20 meters and his teammate didn't have to break stride.
  14. BDA replied to Nascent's topic in Melbourne Demons
i'd completely forgotten about this thread
  15. They are badly out of form recently no doubt. But the manner of this performance is shocking. they are fumbling, getting caught HTB, dropping marks. comical defending. They are playing like North 2022 and 2023. I can't see them recovering from this and challenging for the flag
  16. do you think they'll be able to compartmentalise this and move on EO.
  17. This is a flag killing shellacking. psychologically devasting for the Swans
  18. 58-0
  19. Swans have coughed up 4% in the first quarter
  20. didn't think harry mckay had that in his locker. brilliant goal
  21. A goal. finally
  22. preference is a pies win. They're unlikely to play finals and a loss will keep carlton out of the top 4
  23. that HTB against Fogarty was ridiculous. what was he supposed to do?
  24. Last night was very disappointing. The players obviously thinking of the beach. Let's play our youngsters. give them gametime. And can we please show some heart and fight. Pride in the guernsey. I can't abide these missed tackles and half arsed efforts.
  25. The window is only slightly ajar rebuild v try to extend our window? I'm not sure i trust Lamb given our recent track record. I'd rather we keep our picks and bring in young talent. Tassy are coming in soon so we can't afford to bottom out at the same time as they join. we'll probably use our first on a midfielder and trade to bring in depth. And hope Clarry, Viney, Maxy, May can get back to their best and/or stay injury free. I don't know but maybe trading out those who won't be around for our next flag and go to the draft could be the go
