Dermie is a complete numpty. I ignore him studiously. I reckon he would choke if he had to give the Dees any praise.
  3. great thread. thanks @Lucifers Hero
  4. I only watched the first quarter and a bit but the Lions players made a big show of congratulating each other after every goal. all back slaps and fist pumps. trying to show the world how together the group was. looked confected to me. reckon if we turn the screw next Thursday they will fold. And let's not forget their MGC record which is abysmal.
  5. Bombers early draft picks don't appear to be developing. Cox is the reincarnation Cale Morton. Zach Reid is always injured, Durham and Hobbs are handy, haven't seen much of Tsatas (2022 pick 5). Perkins is the only one you could say will be a 200 gamer. The recruitment team should be copping a lot of heat down at the Hangar
  6. I'm very confident for the season as well OD. The resolve and grit we showed in 2021 is back.
  7. BDA replied to Romey's topic in Melbourne Demons
There will always be NIMBY's. We just have to get the majority of the community on board. Given the inside of the track is used for very little presently it should not be a difficult case to prosecute and convince enough people that the project makes sense. This is Kate Roffey's domain. If this falls over, I won't be blaming a few NIMBY's.
  8. boring night of footy. both games non-events. hopefully better fare tomorrow
  9. the essendon cale Morton
  10. Port flat track bullies bombers good first quarter, hapless second quarter
  11. I'd forgotten about Georgiadis. good kick
  12. i'd say closer to 99.9%
  13. great advertisement for gather round
  14. This is pathetic from North. I'm turning it off.
  15. North are terrible. 100 point shellacking incoming.
  16. Pointless review no 1 for the game. I predict a total of 5 for this game. Seems to be par across games this year so far
  17. it would help if North stopped handballing straight to Lions players
  18. If i had my choice of one player to take from North, it would be Larkey
  19. Playing North a great way for Lions to find some form. North are game and will have a crack early but likely to fade in 2nd half. But if they do manage to beat the Lions i will laugh heartily.
  20. Great start to the year. our performances speak for themselves culture wise. exactly what we needed to change the narrative thankfully won't be reading anymore guff about our supposedly suspect culture for a while at least.
  21. Left his elbow in unnecessarily. Does this way too often. He is developing a reputation. If roles were reversed we'd all be calling for a suspension. He'll get and deserves 1 week.
  22. according to ralphy just now he's a cert to be suspended. spargo still injured so not sure who'll come in for him
  23. 6 trac 5 Maxy 4 May 3 McVee 2 Sparrow 1 Windsor honourable mention to Fritsch. reliable goal kicking when everyone else was wayward
  24. have to see how everyone pulls up but if no injuries then go with the same team again.
  25. We love Adelaide Oval. Our record there is excellent. Our home away from home. I have to get over there to see a game
