I’ll back Trac in to get back to his best. After hearing Maxy’s interview last week I’ve no doubt ll get back on track with the playing group. I’ve no concerns there. Neither Trac, the playing group or the club covered themselves in glory during this whole shambles. The backgrounding to the press has been appalling and an inditement on everyone. I would like to know what issues Trac raised and how these will be dealt with. There needs to be communication from the club to the members here. The usual “she’ll be right, every club has problems” line won’t do. I expect to see changes and it looks like Pert and Roffey are in the gun. Huge 2025 coming up for this club.

My takes from this whole imbroglio are: 1. the club leaks like a sieve. Stamp it out now. 2. trac needs better advisors. 3. Kate Roffey needs to prep properly before interviews. And her and Pert need to can the corporate speak. Talk plainly to us members, acknowledge issues and communicate a plan to address 4. Max Gawn is an outstanding leader and communicator. Pert and Roffey take note 5. Stop talking about culture. Demonstrate culture through actions on the field.

We have plenty of problems at the club. Max as captain is not one of them.

I'm just glad this nonsense is sorted and didn't drag on until the end of the trade period. what a pointless solo run from Trac. a trade was never a possibility. hopefully he can get his head down, focus on his recovery and be fit and firing come round 1. After listening to Maxy yesterday I'm sure there'll be no bad blood between him and the playing group and he can re-integrate without any problems. We need the norm smith trac doing what he does best on the footy filed. Leave the brand and cooking recipes until post career. The leaking and backgrounding needs to stop. the next anonymous source that feeds news to the media needs to be hunted down and banished.

Very good start to the season against a tough opponent Kate Hore class the difference. Macken very good as well. Shelley Heath a little tiger as always. Not perfect but always great to win at that sh*tpile. We don't get the W down there too often. Go Dees
