  1. I know this might not be a popular post, but with ANB gone we need a player who can run and do the team first things. Finn Maginess is an elite runner and someone we might get cheap..... Also means Clarry has 1 less tagger out there.

Yes, sure. But we are a slow team. Langdon aside. Bailey Smith fits our needs. I still think he makes us significantly better.

He's an A grade midfielder (former number 8 pick) that is about to enter his prime. We are losing our only runner and we are already slow. He instantly makes us better. People saying we should go get MacRae surely are not serious when there is a player of this calibre also on the table. Why settle for MacRae. Go and get the cream of the crop Melbourne

23 yo Collects the footy Has speed and endurance Plays forward as well so can rotate through there. We have salary from brayshaw and ANB leaving. Go and get him!
  5. Means we'll draft a second ruck some time in 2030 😅🤣

Watching the game tonight makes me think to kings birthday. We really need to tag nick daicos out of the game. The kid is so damaging. Any ideas of anyone that can go with him?
  7. I had exactly the same thoughts. Darcy and Jackson vs Gawn solo is a big ask, even for the great man.
  8. I thought the Eagles were very very good tonight. They were very well coached with clear plans and executed them brilliantly. We really struggled to defend and win the territory battle like we usually do. I wonder if the ground is wider at optus, because they seemed to move the ball through our zone very easily. And usually that doesn't happen to Melbourne. It's round 10, its good to have a few of these now so we can regroup and rethink how to execute better next time. As long as we are flying come august and September there is no need to over react.
  9. Who do you think plays on Langdons wing? Does Woewodin start on the wing? If he does who goes to the sub role? I guess billings is the other option, personally I'd love to see Woewodin start there and get a full run at it

I remember Sicily successfully appealed medium contact that got downgraded to low contact this season for his kick. I think we have to attempt to take it to the tribunal
  11. Pickett turns his head and follows the ball before contact, the elbow is not intentional as he is looking to push off the player to burst away, I think the first angle looks bad, but the second one shows he is just following the footy. Clearly low impact. If we go by Collingwood lawyer the Adelaide player runs himself into his elbow. Lol. To soon?
  12. We know there is only one wizard. There can't ever be another
  13. Looks like a meniscus injury based on mechanism
  14. Did the rules only change for the one season? Because the year before Mac Andrew the doggies took Ugle Hagan as an academy player with pick 1!
  15. Can anyone explain why we couldn't pick Mac Andrew as a Melbourne academy player last year, when gold coast are allowed to pick 2 academy players in the top 10 this year?

We give 6, 7 (from GWS salary dump) and pick 11 for pick 1. WC give pick 6 and 11 for norths pick 2 Melb get 1 WC 2 and 7 North get 3, 6, 11 plus the rest That means WCE will get Curtis at 2 or 3.

I just watched this video, was from 5 months ago, but seems spot on. And if we get this kid he could be a 1 in generational player
  18. The only reason I can see McDonald in the team is because he can ruck the forward boundary throw ins and Max can drop a kick behind the play. But why pick McDonald for this role when we have Grundy available. That really makes no sense. McDonald offered no forward pressure, no aerial contest and was to slow on the lead last week. I'm baffled by that decision
  19. Natural justice will occur on the 30th of September. Sit tight, this could get very messy.
  20. I reckon Jack Viney could pip trac for most brownlow votes this year. He has been incredible. But I don't think either of them will win it.
  21. Grundy the sub! Make it happen
  22. I had exactly the same thought. The bloke can't get a game with Oliver and Sparrow injured despite being the best midfielder for a long time at Casey. Harmes has been poor this year, pretty annoyed at the selectors.
  23. Watch out for Dorko snipering blokes lads
  24. Central tendons run through the belly of the muscle. " The central tendons of the hamstrings run from the ischial tuberosity to different insertion sites medially (the semimembranosus and semitendinosus muscles) and laterally (the biceps femoris [BF] muscle) around the knee joint".
