Well i kind of disagree, because it was hopefully with a signing contract emoji. So i read it as "Kozzy happy because he was in the Tim office before training, hopefully signing a contract". Hence the clarification because it can be read multiple ways. -

Is this fact or part of the "hope"? Whey else would he be in Lamb's office if it wasn't re: contract? -

If Gawny could change direction, then one would think its more likely to be 2-3 weeks away, which is well ahead of expectation. Mind you, Im not a physio so my opinion matters little. -
Hodgy said an interesting thing on radio today In that early season is perfect for blooding youth and finding out about certain players.

I see Rivers as an evolution of Hibberd's lock-down role and taking on aspects similar to Maynard from the Pies, who is a real tough 1:1 medium defender that can also hurt you on the rebound. He still has a way to go to reach his full potential, but to me, that is his role and one if nailed, will be a real weapon in the years to come.

I hate to be the person who is overly confident, but we really should be tearing the eagles apart next week. They still have most of their forward line intact (Allen, Darling, Waterman), so they are still potent if the ball gets in there quick. Given we will be expected to win and by a long way, what is the pass mark? 4pts? 10 goals? 100 pts?

He is a great 2nd year player, possibly the best u21 player the competition has ever seen, but there is still daylight between him and the top 20 players in the competition.

This game win these circumstances would have been better in Rd 18-20 where the rest would have been really welcomed for some. If BBB is sore and needs a week, bring back TMac as he was decent today with 11 marks and 2 snags. If we persist with Petty up forward, Tommo is also a decent call up. Eagles are still tall up forward with Allen, Darling and Waterman. For Kozzy - hard call. One of ANB, Sparrow or JJ. In: Tmac, Tommo, Kozzy Out: BBB, Hibberd, Sparrow

After 3 rounds we are the highest scoring team. Having played 3 of the better teams in the comp, how does this reflect on our game plan adjustment and forward line structure overall.
-
I wonder if he’ll get midfield minutes when builds a tank in 2-3 years time.
-
100% agree. The 3rd tall is the Ruck pinch hitter. We also need to get some games into Turner, should be our 3rd tall of Petty plays up forward.
-
Eagles players going down like flies. McGovern, Cripps, Shuey and Witherdan all unlikely next week.

6. Oliver 5. Trac 4. Lingers 3. Grundy 2. JJ 1. May

Eagles could actually win this … -
Just wish the Eagles did a number on Freo. Would have been the perfect footy weekend.
-
I think it paves a way for Turner to come into the side.
-
Doesn’t he always look proppy ? Suffers from the same gait weirdness that May and Trac have.
-
Phenomenal response by the team. A real statement game without the skipper. A lot of teams will take notice as the swans are top 4 material. Hopefully BBB was a tactical sub and not through injury.
-
Goody has had enough of the discussion on DL. Unless he snags a few contested marks or kicks a few snags in the second half, the debate is over.
-
How many soft frees to Sydney.
-
Got do that again for the rest of the game and suck the life out of the Swans.
-
Our midfield being out muscled.
-
Another stoppage goal.

Both Trac and May look like they are carrying an injury even when they are 100% fit. They just have a weird gait. -
The Pies are in trouble. They’ll lose a couple in the next 1-2 months. Cox in the ruck is ineffective as well so their rucks problems will be extensive - they may find a way, but stoppage clearance is an important scoring avenue for them (averaging 4 goals a game, which is ridiculous aside) Will be interesting if o see how they pull up playing on a hard GABBA deck next week but I definitely think the Lions will take air supremacy and dominate.
