  1. Our players have to get knocked out before they get a free. And the commentators make jokes about it. Sick.
  2. Too easy for Richmond at the moment.
  3. With the election coming up, I'm thinking of forming my own political party. The 'Get Ling Off The Air Permanently Party'. I only need 500 members to register.
  4. King of the bleeding obvious- Cameron Ling. "Melbourne must win tonight." Spare me.
  5. STOP THE PRESSES! LATE CHANGE! Oh, late change of POSITION for TMac. What a beat up.
  6. Ha, ha. Which one? Perhaps all three! equilibrium - a state in which opposing forces or influences are balanced, a state of physical balance, a calm state of mind. He actually forgot his underwear before the 1999 French Open, and didn't want to take up his coach's offer of wearing his, so he played without any. Because he won he decided to never wear underwear again!
  7. There's nothing like a pair of pink frilly knickers to make you feel better about yourself! If that doesn't work perhaps they could go without. Andre Agassi never wore any underpants for the majority of his career because of superstition.
  8. According to Kevin Bartlett you should have fish and chips the night before a game and a refreshing pot of tea!
  9. It is not glorified. It is a day to remember and to reflect on the sacrifices of the men and women who served. "Lest We Forget". "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". - George Santayana. Furthermore, I do not agree with the AFL having a rock band at the ANZAC Day game to jazz it up. I don't think people need to be entertained in this way on such an occasion. Attending the ANZAC games is a sobering experience. Hopefully the game which follows is entertaining enough.
  10. The culture of rampant ego thrives in all areas of our game.
  11. I remember it well. I thought the religious cult the Orange People had made a comeback. Gave me the creeps.
  12. "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." - Benjamin Franklin.
  13. Always go to this game (and home games), but this year thinking about it. Just can't face those feral Richmond supporters again, because every year they surround you and give you grief. They don't let you barrack for your team in peace. They always have to throw smart comments your way and pick you out of the crowd if you so much as applaud your players. They are arrogant bullies and getting even worse every year, especially now they have tasted success. Might give it a miss, now that I have heard about the lack of effort put in by the players during the off season. Pardon my lack of effort in showing up if they can't be bothered. Yours Sincerely, Disillusioned.
  14. Now I'm really depressed. No light at the end of the tunnel. Gets worse and worse.
  15. And NOT enjoying any of it.
  16. Three Things We Learned Today About MFC Rested On Beaches Overate At Xmas Forgot To Train
  17. I have so much respect for Roos, and to learn this from him is extremely disappointing. There is no reason to disbelieve him. What happened to good old fashioned hard work and hunger for success? Not indulgence and she'll be right mate.
  18. Barring post season surgeries (no finals this year), how about sending the whole team to the Kokoda Track end of the season? Might learn something about commitment, determination and sacrifice. Just a suggestion. Was thinking about this when buying my ANZAC badge today.
  19. Christ Has Risen Demons In Hell Happy Easter Everyone
  20. Well they sure know how to break mine. They have got it down to a fine art.
  21. MFC- Maddeningly Frustrating Club ME - Down, Gloomy, Glum
  22. A disgraceful decision by the AFL. See above for my post for my thoughts on this farce. I forgot to mention- when will the minute silence be done among all this noise? The AFL seem to think we want our senses assaulted with light and noise when we attend the football. It is not a rock concert for goodness sake. This season is getting more and more ridiculous.
  23. I agree! I take many vitamins and drugs because of a health issue, but recommended by my doctor. Some drugs were very new, just come out of trials. But to inject healthy, young, athletic men with substances unknown for so called health benefits, well, what was the purpose? It can only be called cheating. I really dislike the way it is glossed over and all seems to be forgiven.
