  1. Great win by the lads. Thought we were gone at quarter time and there were some moments in the second that I thought we would get rolled but the boys showed some fighting spirit. I'm a little bit greyer today.

What year can Kalani be drafted?
  3. Kozzy is back next week. Who do we drop from the side? I thought Kade Chandler was superb. Only 9 disposals but 3 very important goals. Likewise Spargo had a low possession game but kicked 2 goals. I can't see Nibbler being dropped and I thought Jordon with his 21 disposals and a goal was very good too. He'll probably keep Harmes out. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on changes for the Eagles game.
  4. Fingers crossed for Maxy. Whether it’s an ACL or a more minor, relative to an ACL, knee injury, Max will miss a considerable amount of footy this season. What is the best scenario to replace him?

Anybody know when he is likely to get scans. Today? Or will we have to wait until Monday?
  6. Joel Smith could be used as a sub if a TMac/Fritsch go down up forward or May’s calf plays up he can cover on defence.
  7. We should have kept the two front teeth we gifted him in the trade.
  8. Voice is still hoarse from Saturday night from screaming at the umps all night. 2 questions if I may; 1. Thoughts on Bulldogs crowd booing Hunter and then later our crowd booing Baker. 2. Interested to get @binman‘s take on some of the other matches. He predicted some bigger scores/more free flowing scores. We saw that in the Cats/Magpies match. Those two are our main competition so interested to hear your thoughts on them. Also Port and no doubt we’ll get your thoughts on Brissy in the Match Preview.
  9. How do you think we are going to use sub this year? Is it going to be a James Jordan type who can play multiple roles from midfield to up and down the flanks or will it be a tall/mobile type like JVR or even Joel Smith? Rise - Brisbane (Top 2) - Carlton (Top 4) - Gold Coast (Top 8) Fall - Tigers (Middle of the Road) - Saints (Bottom 4) - Hawks (Spoon)
  10. Keen to hear your thoughts on how you thought our forward line functioned. We once again kicked over 100 points. 3 Goals TMac,3 goals apiece to the resting rucks and only 1 goal to Big Benny (from a free kick). People in the post match thread were critical of Ben Brown. Keep up the great work.
  11. Rumour has it that restorative works began today in Richmond to repair all the buildings that had been destroyed this summer. It is believed that no houses in the area were trained down today.
  12. Sounds pretty innocuous. Am I missing something? Apologies if I am and am being insensitive. I saw the pictures in another thread. Can’t wait to see Kozzy tear through people this season and hope he ends up staying.
  13. Love the Preseason Training portion of the Demonland Season. Thank you in advance to all you fabulous track watchers from all of the desk bound or interstaters.
  14. In the past 4 drafts we have drafted 5 Western Australians out of 11 players drafted. 6 flight risks out of 11 if you count Kozzy who is highly touted to leave at seasons end.
  15. Excuse my ignorance but what is the “thick” post and what is it in reference to.
  16. A big thank you to the panel for raising the bar and taking the podcast to the next level this season. Our boys might not have gone back to back but you guys surely did. Do you think we will go through another season of will he or won't he in regards to Kosi? Port won't quit this one and will be getting into Kosi or his management at every opportunity. They will throw a huge long term contract at him to come home.

I couldn't make the trek down from Brisbane last Friday. Knowing we had the double chance I wanted to get to Melbourne for either the Semi or the Prelim (and hopefully a Granny). In Round 23 I was able to watch us live at the Gabba and we played with a totally different strategy going forward. We seemed to revert to a kick it to the pocket strategy or just bomb it in this week. Can any of you explain to me why that was as it was difficult to ascertain that from watching on the telly?
  18. Petracca seems to be playing a lot of time forward in the past few weeks. Are we saving him to be unleashed in September? Is it to give Gus more midfield minutes? Does anybody have the time forward stats for Trac in the past few weeks? I'm not complaining as he managed to hit the scoreboard twice.
  19. How did you rate Nibblers game? Seems he has zero awareness to the time he has to release the ball. He gets caught way too often for my liking and it happens on a weekly basis. Once again he had a low possession count, 7 possessions and didn't hit the scoreboard. Are his pressure acts (31 2nd highest behind Oliver) & his endurance that important to keep him in the side. I'd love to see what Bailey Laurie can add to the high half forward roll. Love the Podcast and would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

In 2018 I would have given anything for him. Now I would happily give anything to keep him out. We have surpassed the need for him. He snoozed and he loozed. He didn't even get a flag in 2018 because of the the act on Gus jr
  21. In: Viney Out: Melksham On second thoughts the club is nursing Melksham to 200 games so Dunstan will be the one who comes out.
  22. I think you might be confusing it with their interview with Alan Richardson.
  23. Cracking pod again this week fellas. Are you planning on doing a mid season review again this year? Also I'm quite sure that with the exception of Gus and Gawny you fellas are the only Dees podcast to have interviewed Adem Yze. Great interview Btw
  24. If Tracc is out or a late out then who comes in to replace him? Sparrow?
  25. With all due respect Hutchy you do not need to start a new thread for every thought that comes into your head.
