  1. No need to be leaping when you are 170cm. Look how many leaps Kossie has tried snd fsiled in ALL. That's not a small forwards tole IMO and Kossie should be instructed to STOP trying MOTCENTURY. Both he snd Watson's place is down at the front crumbing the packs and then converting goals. Leave the big marks to Rooy he will reward us better each year.
  2. Especially Cunnington.
  3. She seriously is now a fairly powerful athlete in the AFLW and will take her marking to a new level. She now has height pace and some well added muscle. A freaking handful and if she misses the ball will be picked up and goaled by the Hanks Zankers Harris's Hores and McNamaras of our forward world. Our Senior AFL Forward Coach should watch these girls convert and attack the footy. They are an inspiration.
  4. The above is a reply to Kev Martin and not to the poster Wodjathefirst.
  5. It's a very negative way to "attack" and try and goal. Let's just attempt to kick goals and if we get our share then the opposition has to outmatch us. No wonder we didn't bridge the deficit on Thursday because it was a scramble to get the ball. Of course our accuracy and skill at goal kicking was so bog ordinary as well. It suited the defenders more than the forwards. If we are to take advantage of our superior fitness we need to encourage and give our forwards the ability to have a red hot go at a target we are chasing. There has to be some risk, some reward!
  6. Thanks for the explanation KM. I am regrettably no more encouraged by that explanation. Sorry the Auskick kids play like that and end in a clump! Why wouldn't Ooze have some input up forward. The insanity is that no one elsein the Club after 3 years mostly failure and heartache had an input. Can't the players tell our "Coach" that they can't see anyone leading ? Aldi what happens when the ball is just scrambled into our forward clump quickly. it's just like that no separation of players same as fit marking there was 8/10 go upon Thursday all at once and once Kossie jumped on the back of the pack. Same result no goal or mark and no front crumber either. He has to go it's totally stupid and disheartening.
  7. Too many stuffed up too often on last Thursday so it's never too late I never say never !!! Good that Goody is thinking a bit left field. Better than Harry Petty for the last 5/10 mins last year! It's never too late Dees.
  8. He trained forward today. He can mark and kick and hopefully lead!!
  9. He has got to go really this is insane !!
  10. Oh and further this action was "behind play" refer free kick.
  11. Jibroni do you want Bruz in or out? 2 things once your feet leave the ground it is a charge or virtually an illegal tackle. At the Tribunal there are no such clauses which can include "unfortunate" or "unlucky". If you jump into and mame injure or concuss no matter the fortune you are putting yourself in an untenable situation and should pay for the consequences of your actions. ie don't get yourself in that situation.or position. 3/4 weeks. Is fair given the damage and fact that we lost a player for the whole game.
  12. You are saying we need forwards yet want the best looking one for ages Harry Petty to " ideally play on the backline." So much for your Concern about our greatest weakness our forward line. Glad you are not deciding our recruiting based on that judgement. Harry looked every Inch a 75/80 goal forward let's leave him there please. Next Friday night I would try Turner on the forward line as he can mark hopefully kick as well. Change Smith to backline perhaps. I do agree that we go after a ready made forward as well in the trade period. Perhaps Membrey or Fullarton or Koschitzke. Or Lord for a future Ist or 2nd rounder as part of a Brodie deal if he goes to Port.
  13. Ridiculous overreaction on our midfield when we need forwards with skill. Also put Woew back on the ball. Look at Paddy Dow or alternatively Jade Gresham. Perhaps look at Tim Membrey to bolster our goslkickers. We need to be creative and also part ways with our firearm coach please.
  14. Really what a disgraceful option. Old injured and no future with him. Get a younger prospect please. Even Goldstein would be better. !
  15. It just may be as simple as MOVING ON or changing our forward line Coach. I have posted this idea about SIX times in this season and I can't recall any support . Ridiculous ! If you need to change something look at all the factors. Our forward line is a mess and partly the way they are trained obviously and also our shanking of the ball affects our accuracy. All those shots that went out of bounds on the last quarter were poor attempts because the player was not directly facing the goals when kicking or he didn't try an snapshot style of kick at goals to give the ball a Chance. Sutrky all the Coaches must know this. Why don't they get Garry Lyon David Neitz and David Schwarz in for a think tank snd a hard truth ideas session and come up with a strategy. The next thing is to follow up with draft snd trade selections for finishers who have excellent skills to maximise our huge no if forward entries that are just wasted. We are too spendthrift with our quantity over quality attitude. Finally a personal plea to Greg Stafford PLEASE RESIGN ASAP and save our dynasty hopes. You must be sick of this mess anyway. .
  16. Stafford needs to be moved on and this is about the third time I have said in this forum. New forward ideas needed and yes a couple of classy finishers.
  17. Here here Another appalling attacking effort that did every thing to ensure we lost the game. poor connection poor forward effort in no isolation and ghastly attempts at passing to a leading pass. Also multiple times we crashed into each other and lost the ball. Enough poor set goal kicks to ensure we didn't kick enough goals. Every time we did something good one or two players spoilt our efforts by committing changers. A game we should have won yet we didn't play well enough and that's probably why we didn't ultimately win.
  18. That's quite obvious with your c..p selections. Please go back drinking and don't embarrass yourself with such ridiculous selections with not an ounce of common sense or footy logic.
  19. Had had more injuries than most in his last 2 years and lucky not to be outed by the MRO a few times. Would put him on a games played base contest with bonuses for 3 years and tske a chance. Or pay $800 per year for 3 and upset all and sundry.
  20. 3rd Forward is Fritta's to lose He May be 4,5 or6 depending upon where Kossie fits!!
  21. He can if he comes stop the ridiculous habit of Kossie flying for impossibles or unrealtistics!! Goody can impose that on Kossie and he can kick 50 instead of 40 per season!!
  22. Laurie ( although out nearly all first year injured) has taken 2 years and about a dozen VFL and 2 AFL games to mature and I am genuinely excited about his potential. (Think Sam Mitchell style) ie not fast but clean and good on both sides of his body. Will be very hand today if subbed early enough I hope!). Nearly 2 seasons slower than Judd but who cares if they are given a chance to make it now under our system. MJ could be same. Doubt whether we can give all players 6 years like Maxy but thank g.d we did. A Roos/Goodwin win and TJ and Lammie so far credit for Bill L.!!
  23. And never seen MJ play in the flesh!!!
