Giving up players we need is not the answer. Getting more out of the ones we have is the contract if we wish to be in the flag hunt.

MEMBERSHIP TALLY
You have to think BIG to aim there. Same with Perty. 75,000 members nearly there Flags from all teams in 4 years. Some fans donât know how hard it is in the AFL, it is extraordinarily competitive, I hate it when some cans say we donât get crowds. We are usually in the first half dozen each season now. MCG is a bonus for us we deserve as our home ground for money making. 50,000 plus average was a dream a decade ago.

Geelong Sets Sights on Oliver
Well I feel very upset when our champion is not supported from one of our loyal fans. Letâs not take our premiership heroes lightly. We still have a potentially good list and some young talent ready to shine. Sometimes some comments in D/L are crazy and I feel obligated to respond. Not always a considered response. Apologies Smokey if I have offended you.

Harrison Petty
Another negative post from afar. Do you ever really see the real footy news. Just like bleating from the bleaches your comments. What rubbish do you read in your part world?? Last centuries fish and chip wrappings? Totally wrong Harry is a fine young KP player albeit injury prone. Watch our forward line transform when he gets back in next week. We cannot afford to lose Harry unless we get 2 first round draft picks in the higher range.

"We want to be like Collingwood"
She is simply asking for us to cheer louder and encourage more. The louder we are the better the team will respond. Itâs your choice !! Get louder itâs up to us the fans to encourage more by our voices not silent barracking. Ita an opportunity to let your feelings go each week and scream and shout our team to a win. Try it itâs not that hard.

Not so in my book. Salo has been training in the middle with the intention of assisting our disposal. It was also in relation to possibility of Clarry not being available early doors. To abandon our mids so early despite Gus and Bowsa is reverting backwards iMO. I worried who is going to play on JUH. No one stands out to me maybe Marty first off the pack. And also Weightman. Thatâs why our mids need to be on their game and reduce the pressure on our defence which was under siege in the last quarter vs Sydney.

âSwitchingâ
I think itâs our mentality and bad decisions with the ball we have no ingrained plan that dominates or we go to under pressure. That why we are never a good chance to get a last goal in the minute and a half in the Semi last year. Not either trained to do it or are not good at it. I would have placed Kossie in the centre in that last bounce as he is the one who gains space on his opponents to do a long kick to the danger area. There is so much of previous success patterns still being trotted out itâs so disappointing and frightening. And to be honest what has happened to the Carlton practice round style, disappeared under pressure it looks like. no new Mini discernible patches in style to add a layer to our style either. And Stafford clueless it appears although the track watchers sometimes see some training type of plan that is different but never surfaces in a match. About time we got an outsider to do our forward and ruck game plans.

TRAINING: Monday 11th March 2024
Agree never been potted and have had no reason to. Also most players should get a second chance because of the humidity and slippery ball. Except that Spargs Chin Bill and Jibba (JBIllings) are all a bit alike and canât fit too many in the one team. Chin needs a Casey recall and Spargs fitness is under question . Billingâs and Bill for mine and zkosdie and Petty or if not passed fit Fullarton.

I think we are still on target for 65,000 plus. A string of wins and in the Top8 would get numbers going and itâs early in the season.

Next AFL CEO
Beautifully summed up Kall. Weak as p..s was Kane. All for show and what a charade. About all it would have done was win a game of Charades. Some people are easily fooled. Watch the interview from OTC and see how she dodged and weaved some questions. Very poor I thought.

Feed the Ball to Rivers
Your proving quite like a fickle supporter Gofgy not wanting JUH â no tight type of player for usâ and now saying donât try and artificially involve Riv in our forward set ups as it upsets a team ? It is understandable if overdone but itâs just good footy to get the ball on some players hands more than others. Who we old you want yo get a pass from JV or Lingers or Riv? No shame on the others but letâs be real.

Go and Get JUH
Whatever you nitpickers about JUH and his marking or kicking he had had only 3 seasons in the AFL. Contrary to opinion he is ahead of Rooi at this stage in development. But is a year ahead in playing AFL. He is a very skilled player and a very strong mark on occasions. For anyone in D/L to say he is not the sort of player Melb needs to have now is completely out of touch with building a premiership list. Who would he replace on our forward line NOW? Only Petty and Fritta and JVR are a like for like but KUH could play any where like Fritta. Be handy on a flank I reckon. Yes his kicking is not as reliable as say JVR or Petts but like all good/ great players ( Trac ) not all are the finished product in all skills. Naughton is very iffy also kicking for goal but again you wouldnât say no. Go after him Dees and throw the book at him. Far too good to not chase.

Good news week (positive news only)
Yes and thatâs the aim that should be for our players as WCW. Sure we will see a much improved Dees team on Sunday. Selection and performance. We donât play two baddies in a row usually Go Dees
