  1. Any F to Air is considered prime time ie 3.30pm in Sunday is a good time better than 1 pm or 6pm
  2. BN why is that's the death slit that's the late Sunday GameStop 6pm!
  3. Sunday's are considered afternoon not twilight and Are FTAir. Yes Thurs and Frid are best but we have got only 4 or 5 more away games in 12 and 2 already interstate trips. Maybe at best 2,more with Alice Springs still included I think. Actually we don't play bad at most venues so if we miss GWS away and of course no Geelong it's not a bad draw even if we played in Hobart. Time to get real and raise the bar as in 2018.
  4. Fitzroy And Carlyon at Junction Oval. Dees also won a game at the G With very heavy fog Not sure Who we played may have been Fitzroy. I think It was very low scoring!!
  5. What about Jonesy he will kick 2 a game at least if left to play guests A big plus he and Salem also. Bedford May miss out because of Jonesy but would really like him to be given a run at it.
  6. On last years form both None if our defenders except Lever and May in a few games were much good. Defence must play as a team and assist each other Oscar was good vs WC and I think he us our best bet fir 3rd tall if needed by match ups. Very rarely he gets a total bag on him and should try to mark more and be more attacking than just punching out and tap ons in some circs.0
  7. Dee 56 not sure your logic is correct. Omac does not fill in for Lever! Omac takes a key possie and plays totally on that player ie WC Darling or Kennedy and Lever plays his own game intercepting What does happen Sometime is that our defence pushes up and Omac is left minding the oppositions nearest goal forward on his own with no teammate nearby to help (each other) Hore is not a bad player BUT he is not strong enough for the monsters or quick enough for the speedsters. He in fact is an interceptor like Lever and I don't think we can carry two of that style in defence. Also neither Hibbo or Nev really did anything to suggest they are back to their best ( or even near) in Round1. I believe Rivers and Lockhart should be not far away from getting their real chances to shine and stay in the team. Lets see but plenty of room for improvement. May Lockhart and Oscar were easily our 3 best in Round1. Harmed was lost mostly get him on the ball or forward or maybe a wing. I also believe Tomlinson May end up being our third tall some times As I am still not convinced ring is his best position fir us. Go Dees
  8. Grounds don't give modern day sides flags ! You earn them in the AFL best urban ( now national) sporting comp in the world!
  9. Agree completely Frittata wlll succeed but needs to take the fourth defender and once he isolates a bigger defender is plonked on him and he is out bustled a lot. Need Weid to replace Brown who looked lost and dropped Marks he got in his hands in Round1 Fritta and Melk are good forwards against their mid range defenders not 2nd defenders of the opposition. I ts all a mix and we need our different assets to combine to achieve a maximum result Over to you Goody and your coaches !!
  10. Hocking has nothing to do with it! Travis Auld is the mastermind !
  11. Get Neeld back!!! Also!!!
  12. Here here !!! Lockhart a walk up start gives drive and run from back and is very necessary.
  13. Yes he gets the best out of his troops and is not as defensive now. If not Coach then an Assistant
  14. Hope this doesn't mean Jay Lockhart is under the pump He still played his game of run and taking the ballon and is needed in that role. Jay is so courageous also.!
  15. Interesting to see if AFL apply their social distancing rules as in society etc. No excuse cuts really even if a tragedy like this occurs Isn't that another Reason for distancing and application to social rules for AFL players? Especially if they are In the midst of uncertain times and health!
  16. Rubbish 39 Roos had already moved Howe into defence Howe was not keen really as he indicated and his manager Alex MacDonald that Buckley said he would play him on the wing because of his engine!!! Thats a furphy as we know and he had been a defender since But if he was at Melb Roos would no doubt have kept him in defence
  17. Play him (Hardeman) on the back flank he had the pace and skills to go with smaller players. Reckon also that Neiter should be our CHB as it is a bit small even with Wight or Biffen. The forward line with Jacko at FF Stynes and Gawn in FP and last spot between Ooze and Greenie. Neitz and Lyon could change at any time and any forward could play in most spots other than Schwartz and Neitz in key positions.
  18. 2002,2003 and 2001 in fact. Was at that game and amazing comeback after horrible start. Lions had a rare bad day in defending but still kicked 16 goals. Really 1994 and some other wins during 98 and 2000 Plus 87/91 There was a lot of ability but injuries and I think an ordinary defence at times cost us a chance if a flag.
  19. Last para could have been left off Now Maxine Clarry and Trac carry the modern can! Greatest Demons since 1958. 1.RDB 2. RFlower 3.D Neitz 4. JStynes 5. H.Mann Hon mentions Mithen Dixon Alves Wells T.Viney GLyon Schwartz (undoubtedly would have been in Top3 if not for injury.) Modern Potential for Top5 Jones Clarry Maxie Trac
