JVR Extends to 2025
But Jacko's was ONLY ONE YEAR THEN and I started to worry why? Reckon He was not fully on board like Riv and Kossie who both took 2 years! He was never going to be a 5 year plus player. Wonder how many flags we can win more than Freo in the next 7:8 years??

2023 Free Agents
If we look like losing Kissie we should go after Dylan Moore of The Hawks. Small crumbing forward with speed.

AFLW: S7 Average Home Crowd
To be fair both the Dees Port and Bombers crowds were inflated by an MCG Adelaide Oval and Marvel Stadium standout home game for different reasons. And it's correct that Port Bombers Swans and Hawks are higher also because of their first season in the comp. Finals crowds will be interesting as Lions will be at Metricon Crows at Unley still and Cats at GMHBA Stadium for the first Final. Just for fun I will predict the four games: Melb/ Adelaide Ikon Park 3,000/3,500 Lions/ Tigers Metricon 5,000/6,000 Cats/ Roos GMHBA 4,500/5,000 Pies/ Dogs Vic Park 4,000/4,500 Comments why Really only one team Dees for support here Tigers fans will match Lions as it is at Metricon 3/4 will be Cats fans no doubt. Pies will be 4/5 of crowd absolutely. That's assuming all games are not ruined by rain on the day/ night.

AFLW: QF vs Adelaide
My goodness you don't want Casey long term with updated Home Ground updated facilities for AFLW and VFLW and VFL yet you are drumming up opinions on gender football favouritism and the length and timing of the contract. Plus you STIILL want the 2 next Finals games Yes that's all you are cogitating over the AFLW Dees to play at Casey Fields. Make up your mind please. Actually not that it would bother you but the girls love Fortress Casey and embrace it proudly but suspect that Ikon Park is ok to them as a substitute. Plenty of good reasons we all know ie crowds, transport lack of wind hopefully and The GF will 99% be played there if we or another Victorian Club ( other than Geelong) host . Time to move on KM it's simply not worth it as you are making a mountain out of a molehill and note you have not even acknowledged some of my points which I assume you can't fault. Let's just hope the AFLW team win our first flag and they can unfurl it at Casey in Round 1 next season whenever that may be. ( August 2023 start again maybe).

Welcome to Demonland Pick 37
Turner RDB Could Munkara be the player we thought Rosman might have been if he had shown signs of development? We need an X factor forward/ mid especially in case of The possibility of the Kossie factor. We may have the player in Howes if he develops physically but Two it three X factors in Kossie Howes and Munkara would liven up any forward line or team if all develop.

2022 Player Reviews: #30 Alex Neal-Bullen
If the selection policy is fair dinkum Nibbler will have to play his 2021 form in '23 to stay in the team. Love his team first attitude and gut running but his decision making and finishing let him self down this season. Faces a serious challenge from Kade Chandler and possibly JJ for his AFL spot which hopefully brings out his best including 20 goals or more this season.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Yes but his best is about 2/3?years ago and injury can be an issue after a layoff. My point is that the role we may prefer Brodie to play could well be a bit different from CFC and more midfield centric. Has he the skills straight away to hit the ground running no matter what his ability has shown as a ruckman? The jury is out also in this Demonstrative !! PS sometimes even juries can get things wrong. FWIW I think by the end of the season flag or no flag Brodie will be classed as a great pick up fir us and a team improvement on Jacko but not necessarily in the earlier rounds.

Give them a go Tiers Remenber when Trac was starting off ? Till 2020 there were many D/Lers who wanted to clear him. They have gone to ground like turtles never to be seen again! Key positions are there low point esp. in defence but they have lost too many 2016 Flag players and each season some others ie Schache and Hunter are leaving for cultural reasons. Coaching an issue I wonder?? It's different from Weid Hunty and Toby who are seeking greater games and growth but not culture IMO.

Good reply LVDC That could well be your favoured topic on Hard Quiz though!!

AFLW: Rd 10 vs West Coast
Carltons total of 81 is the second lowest of the total shots for the season. IMO they are the biggest underperforming team in the AFLW In the last 4 years since their 2029 GF debacle at the Crows hands. And they keep reappointing their Coach Daniel Hartford who has another year to run in his contract. Plus the media on TV want them so biasedly to win games and pump up their players. Even Darcy Vesio has lost her glamour and footy smarts since being banished to defence even though she is playing solid footy. In AFLW they are about as relevant as GWS.

AFLW: QF vs Adelaide
Really KM stop looking for scapegoats over 2 games of footy! in your other post you have blamed even the Board! MFC I presume who would have no say ( vote or similar) on this timing. Actually the timing is probably making Casey Fields available for start of VFL next season. Who exactly are disorganised? And it's not even disrespectful as its a plus for the girls for the next 20 years of our AFLW home games. PS Hope Mach 5 doesn't blame Perty for this!!!

Farewell Brodie Grundy
DJR You have a right in querying my question about Brodie and saying that I don't think he will be an embarrassment in our midfield. Yes he has a great CV but we I believe will try and get a more midfield role in his game to than at the Pies. My point is that he has some good mid field skills more than most rucks and should be able to learn/ adapt to suit our on the ball style of recent years. I also think he may take a month or so to hit top form after his injury and length of time omissions in 2022. But the jury may still be out about his role and suitability for a part of the year irrespective of your glowing AA etc CV.

Binns not Buns sorry.

Welcome to Demonland Pick 37
Buns Might be more that we want than Szybkowski as he is a runner and mid. !

Welcome to Demonland Pick 37
Is he an elite footballer or just a good pick up for no 37? Sounds like a good chance at 37 if he gets that far.

Phantom Drafts Thread 2022
What's "Chonky" a new age term for chunky? Or a misspelling? Clearly most recruiters can separate unfit/ overweight to well built physically. If they can't shouldn't be in those positions of Trust!

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I would have thought we addressed quite simply and efficiently on losing Jacko this year. Or have you forgotten the name Brodie Grundy. Yes thats the new 2nd ruck with some mid field skills better than most his size. And I haven't closed the door of him developing forward craft to say get 15/20 goals if he is rested up front. Maxy's only done this really once and he was a waste in the last 10/12 games banged up ( thanks to that disgracefully deliberate jump by the American Pie into his back on QB afternoon starting his demise). Maxy was purely up front to test the oppo defence and stop it's marking of our pretty impotent forays forward or to the LH pocket and prevent our hopefully Gawn mark and goal as well which did not eventuate. We can address specifically the KPF next draft with one of our four picks along with a future ruck prodigy and Jacko May be a mostly distant memory, (except our bang bang bang 3Rd Quarter unforgettable highlight Flag junkies like me) hopefully replaced with the 2023 version of Flag memories of equal jubilation. If of course Pick 37 still has a tall timber prospect of high skill and Hope available then that's a bonus really.

Agree completely Kent. This obsession with the 2021 heroes even with injuries proves that even they are not superhuman. Lessons must be collectively learned from Goody down ( or up to the medics)
