COVID & AFL 2021
Hi WWsW. I'm not so sure it'll be that close. Outside of their traditional leafy inner east heartland I don't think they'll get too much traction. A lot of people would have seen through the faux concern for the low income earners and migrants stuck in those North Melbourne flats last year and it wasn't very long ago they were in a bind about whether to back a new law that would ban gay conversion therapy by prayer of all things. They might even be tarnished a bit by the federal governments continued stance on fossil fuels. I think the current government we have down here is probably good for another three years although by what margin I could only guess. Anyway, back to Covid & AFL 2021 as the header says.

TICKETING: Rd 16 vs GWS
Hi Stiff Arm. I've never been one to bag the club but the email from them dropped 2 hours before tickets going on sale which has never been the case before whilst under the same covid restrictions. If you're working and can't make prior arrangements to free yourself up and log on you might miss out on getting any available tickets.

TICKETING: Rd 16 vs GWS
No advance warning from the club. We missed the commencement time for priority member going on sale and ended up on level 2 of Southern Stand. Not happy. P!ss poor MFC.

Best highlight of last night's game!
The two bombers fans in the MCC enclosure made my night.
- Michael Hibberd now Immortalised.

COVID & AFL 2021
This could make sense for Port as the dimensions (long & thin) at Kardinia Park would be fairly similar to Adelaide Oval.

COVID & AFL 2021
We could even play Port in Melbourne at Port Melbourne.

Scar tissue - long suffering MFC supporter issues
I'm just happy that we've got ourselves into a position where we can worry about all of these things (should we choose to).

What they're saying down at Windy Hill
RPFC I had to sift through a few similar gif's before I chose this one and a lot of them looked disturbingly real, including this one. My guess is that most of them would be from Russia after they deregulated Aeroflot.

it's important he stays to complete the platform for their next era of mediocrity and unfulfilled potential.

Looking for that sweet spot where Carlton win just enough games to retain David Teague.

Essendon's frustrations on the night may well be misplaced but geez I hope they take them out on the cats next Friday.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Morning fellow DL's. I have to say I'm a lot more relaxed now that I was for most of last night. I'm looking forward to watching the replay later today as it's a lot harder to see what's going on from ground level at the Ponsford end of the ground. From what I've read on the thread this morning the main topic of discussion centres around the pros and cons of bringing Ben Brown back into the fold, fitness and form not withstanding of course. The advantage of having the extra almost 'stay at home' type forward taking up more of the opposition's defensive resources were evident last night. Historically he's also been a very accurate and reliable kick for goal which we're crying out for. I can equally understand though those that are worried about the lack of pressure and defensive accountability this might come with when trying to keep the ball locked into our forward fifty to help chew up the clock at crucial times, also very evident last night. This is why I'll be looking out for both if the game is televised on CH7 today. A couple of sausage rolls combined with a good defensive effort could be enough to see the big curly haired fella line up between the sticks at the 'G next weekend.

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Easing into this one with coffee and some King Creosote on spotify. Maybe a few clicks on the bike to follow if the sun stays out and the wind keeps away. Really looking forward to being at the 'G again tonight and I don't think our boys will disappoint. As for the margin I don't really care. Let's all just enjoy the experience and bag the 4 points.

Tigers rolling the clock back to the late 1980's is a lovely sight. More please.

I've been in favour of keeping as much distance between ourselves and the interstate sides in order to avoid an interstate final but tonight I wouldn't mind seeing Brisbane win just for the hell of it. It might seem unlikely but who's to say another mini covid outbreak in the metropolitan area won't see a final where Geelong are the higher placed team being moved down the highway to get a near capacity crowd.
