  1. Clutching at straws we’re just pooh
  2. Already have $ on SK after collecting on GWS
  3. If anyone is ok with what this football club is putting out - hands up The pre game hasn’t aged terribly well why is kicking goals so hard jesus wept gws at 4.75 outrageous value
  4. Jesus wept, our kicking it’s core business - why is this so hard we’re last in goal accuracy - last going to cost more games and maybe a top 4
  5. Gws were outrageous value at 4.75 when I got on them This is no gimme. Beware hubris!
  6. Raindrops keep falling on my head…. Or hopefully GWS have a bit of…don’t you go out in the raaaaaaiiiin, we’ll never kick a, goal again…
  7. I mean, if a super expensive energy source that has little chance of gaining a foothold here wants to throw money at AFL , go for it
  8. All 5h1t5 and no giggles
  9. Player salaries could be cut along with the ceo’s i think sugar related advertising in an inapt comparison. Coca Cola hasn’t broken as many families up/ruined lives cf gambling has it Jesus if someone comes for my coke mixer I’ll be ropable
  10. Out - fumbly players In - sure footed confident ball grabbers as sticky handed as a burro on the side of a Bolivian mountain boulevard !
  11. Very generous odds for GWS
  12. Wonder if it’s still the least of Goodwins worries has cost 2 games now - arguably 3 with port good kicking is good footy good kicking and kicking goals is core business for a professional team fix it pronto i remember as a junior golfer spending hours and hours and hours on the short game - putting especially but chipping in particular not saying they don’t practice but they need to get stone cold on this. Like Cameron smith on the greens in round 4 at St. Andrews last year. Stone cold killa
  13. Re petty serious questions over the coaching for mine
  14. Don’t want to speak for the poster but that’s n=1. I think one could make the point that there’s a sample now (this year) where similar examples are missing - at critical junctures.
  15. That’s a real “tell”, culturally, innit - unless no one saw it
  16. Had the same clubs from age 14 to 30. Cr-ppy cheap Rapiers (which actuallly still hit really, really well). Bought some Mizuno MP32s but couldn’t hit them so now have some circa 1998 Titleist DCIs. TM Sim Max D/3W, Ping Anser and set of Cleveland 588 special Ws at 49/56/60. Probably swap the 56 back to a very nice Hogan 54. The DCIs are waaaay under loft - would love to hit a new cavity. Just practice though - as has always been, and always will be.
  17. Pert and other presidents should ne demanding a royal commission into our constant sending down the highway I agree why is it so hard for elite professionals to kick straight(er)
  18. I played 9 holes at Royal Lismore before work this morning and shot 36 so that perked me up a bit. Recommend finding something. Not alcohol!
  19. All the goal kicking practice seems to be paying off
  20. Just think of the learnings! Soak em up!
  21. I would like to understand how a professional football team can be so bad at core business - kicking Pro golfers more often than not sink putts (choose a distance say 5ft) - or pick another analogy if you think the golf one inapt. It’s just dreadful
  22. Look, I feel like this post needs a requote so the magnificence of its subversiveness does not go unnoticed. Chapeau mon ami, chapeau.
  23. Good kicking!
  24. I’d like to see some bunkers and blind kicks at goal over trees.
  25. It’s an absolute travesty this game is again at Kardinia in front of 4 toothless Geelong fans and their mangey dog. #movethegame
