  1. I really hope chronic nervousness can be resolved, why am I never confident going into a game. I have no reason to be nervous and yet still I can't see us getting over the line. MFCSS is debilitating!! In all seriousness, I generally like the changes and think the team is in relatively good form. The four day break combined with some possible humid/hot weather might play a part but considering sydney are on the same level, no excuses can be made. Come on dees!
  2. Let's just hope a perth club doesnt snap him up five years from now. said this in the post game thread but he definitely reminds me of trav johnstone, good disposal and great composure for a first year player.
  3. Outs: Kozzie, Hibbo (inj), jones, hannan Ins: Bedford, Lockart, jetta, fritsch Kozzie really did nothing, he's going to be a star but he is still developing and will need some time before he can be consistent. Even then, being a first year player in a fairly rapid year i think it might be good for him to have a rest. Bedford is not getting enough love on here either, thought he was really good round 1 and deserves another shot at it. Jetta could also be a big chance for hibbo or jones. Spargo could come out for Corey Wagner but as some have mentioned, I think spargo did enough to keep his spot. Does anyone know how Marty Hore is tracking?, was really good last year and should definitely come in this week if hes ready to go.
  4. Does a Collingwood win help or hurt us, i know we should take our destiny into our own hands but in terms of the ladder, is this good for us?
  5. Very true, should have written successor instead. Obviously Melbourne winning has impaired my use of Grammar!
  6. Not sure if anyone else sees this, but young rivers reminds me of travis johnstone, really light across the ground and a good disposal. He'll be an asset to this club for a while yet and is certainly going to be Hibbo's predecessor when the time comes. (hopefully not soon though, hibbo was amazing tonight especially after coming back from that ankle roll)
  7. Didn't post last night because I was still too excited. That was amazing to hold on. Steven May - All Australian full-back Christian Petracca - Superstar Hotel - Trivago Up you mighty demons!!!!!
  8. 6. May 5. Trac 4. Langdon 3. Gawn 2. Salem 1. Rivers Oliver and Viney unlucky not to get votes from me. Viney did a great job on steele after half time and Oliver was a bull at the stoppages all day long. Richard Wagner was actually fairly good on return after being a bit fumbly early.
  9. Great point, but if goodwin is refusing to play him as a tagger, then he certainly shouldnt be played as a half-back flanker, winger, half forward flank. there are better people for those spots. therefore, harmes must go.
  10. A couple of Demonlanders have said that Goody has favourites which could very well be true however I don't really think he does. however, if Harmes gets a game this week, something is up. On his form, he should have been out of the side a couple of games ago. At the moment, he literally offers nothing imo. He's not being used as a tagger which i think we all would agree is when he plays his best footy. he has to get dropped this week. I really want to see young jordan get a go in his place.
  11. out: pickett, harmes, Preuss, tmac, sparrow in: bedford, jordan, gawn (if fit), brown, chandler
  12. Two major reasons we lost; Inside 50 to goal efficiency and defending kick ins. Granted the wind seemed to play havoc but the bulldogs seemed to adapt better I guess. But letting them waltz out of defensive 50 is unforgivable. this club kills me, builds up hope and then let’s it shatter, I’m starting to wonder whether there is something seriously wrong mentally with the playing group. Not taking a swipe at them but they just don’t seem to stand up when the pressures on.
  13. Can’t defend kick ins apparently. Way to easy to go coast to coast.
  14. What the heck has happened to holding the ball? Apparently no longer a rule. smh
  15. How good is this, not really sure what I’m witnessing but I am absolutely loving it. Up the mighty demons!!
  16. I doff my cap to you sir Spargo!!! How good has the small man been.
  17. Can't believe Hannan is out when Harmes has been in shocking form recently. Rivers stiff but Lockhart is a better player currently imo. Would be lovely to see Preussy polax Grundy in a tackle or two. Surely Harmes is on notice tho, another bad performance today and there are plenty others i would bring in.
  18. Definitely not dropping T'mac on tonights stats (13 disposals, 7 tackles, 3 marks and a goal). You can't drop a man with those numbers. however the three tall forward did not work against port so i'm scratching my head as to what to do. if he does go, i think that would be very stiff. which therefore means, out: Harmes, Tomlinson Ins: Viney, Gawn
  19. It is a shame what's happened to Dom, he was very much an important part of 2018 for us and now he seems to just be drifting through norf's 2's. I hope for him that he can find some form. As for the name change, i'll consider it
  20. 6. Petracca 5. Oliver 4. Brayshaw 3. Kossi 2. Hibbo 1. Spargo
  21. Despite copping it from the demonlanders (myself included), T'mac and spargo both keep there spots for next week i reckon. They were both really good tonight, hats off to them, t'mac tackled hard presented well and kicked a goal to top it off. Spargo was very clean with his disposal and provided great pressure. Petracca and Oliver superb and Angus is really starting to get back to it. Next week will be a serious test. Up the mighty demons!!!
  22. Really liked Angus so far, Jackson trying really hard but he’s just 10cm worse off. Need to really keep going hard in the next two quarters. Come on demons!!!!
  23. People in a coma could umpire the game better than these vegetables. I hate them so much!!!!
