My WEG poster was a disappointment. Paper wafer thin, colours terrible red is brown and the blue is black. In general i am very happy with my purchases. I like items of a practical nature and went to buy some more but they are all sold out.

OrdiNeroli Speaking with Michael Hibberd
Fritta and Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Interestingly MH said to the effect 'Best decision I ever made in my life was going to the MFC' (against the advice of family, friends and team mates). Now could I say for nearly all of my adult life I have believed the exact opposite. The MFC offered a safe haven. -

Fritta and Turner replied to george_on_the_outer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Does anyone really know Why Luke Dunstan came to Melbourne? -
I will tell Luke and his management you said that.

Fritta and Turner replied to Fritta and Turner's topic in Melbourne Demons
Did you go to Roos first AGM? He said like 'At the Swans 5 people would turn up and I would say if anyone has any questions ask me at the bar over a beer'. (Meeting closed). -
Just received an email to register for an AGM zoom meeting on Wednesday 2nd March 2022 at 6.30pm You can submit a question as part of the registration process.

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
Fritta and Turner replied to binman's topic in Melbourne Demons
Leaving Sparrow twice, once for the Sparrow goal and the other for Sparrow to kick to BBB in the last. When to attack the ball carrier and when to stick to the receiver is an art, at which Daniel failed miserably. -

More 300+ game players for the Demons?
Fritta and Turner replied to Supreme_Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
The reason why so few 300 gamers is that we were unsuccessful and rarely played in the finals. A sustained period of success can add up to 30 games to a career. Clayton Oliver.- 27 replies

TRAINING: Friday 4th February 2022

Most entertaining training report I have read. At the MFC there are obviously no passengers or klingons... -
Fantastic. Is there anything suitable for the ladies?

I dont live in the COVID news cycle but nothing I have read concerning BA2 has said that it is more virulent than Omicron, though it does seem to be more contagious. Then again, as BA2 is now the dominant strain in Denmark time will tell...

Was it painful?

The TRAINING without the Trackwatchers Thread
Fritta and Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
or a sore finger, nail or knuckle -
Disagree. The dogs should be better as E Wood has retired, with hindsight at the end of the prelim. Worst defensive performance in a GF since Ray Boyanich.
-
Totally agree on that. And paying players out of a brown paper bag. And after 20 years of misery the Dees finally had a modicum of success. (TBH I thought this thread, melbourne Kangaroos, was going to be about BBB or Steven Icke etc).

and it was plainly obvious that the umpire murdered us.....😃

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs

I watched the replay today. One thing i can tell you - dont pick your nose after kicking a goal in the GF. -
Most Clangers ever in a Season
Fritta and Turner replied to Wizard of Koz's topic in Melbourne Demons
Maybe the Dogs defence needs to read this. 3 of Frittas 6 goals came from playing behind. (Now putting on my original K Tel Tin Foil Hat, if one considers the space time continuum, does the classification of playing from behind be contingent on which way you are running? Anyway dogs were swallowed in a black hole). Fwd line needs space to run into, and delivery needs to be to your advantage. -
