Nah Smith was on Cameron from the start and was responsible for a number of his goals.

Smith was on him the whole game from start to finish.

Salem, Rivers and lever? say thankyou very much.

Commentators said that Salem was on Cameron until 3 minutes to go in the first, then Smith.

Still defence is a collaborative effort and you have to man up.

Anyway good excuse to watch the qualifying replay.

  2. On the risible assumption that champion data is an accurate assessment of football talent lets us examine the following ancient conundrum.  Which is more important :

The talent of your top 6 players (elite skill) vs the talent of your bottom 6 players (depth).

If one examines the MFC vs Bulldogs it is clearly depth.

Note : the analysis may be skewed by the Bulldogs having a surfeit of baileys.

At the risk of sounding like a pedant - here's another one - see if you can spot the error.

From p14:  the feature article on the premiership win.

Goals Melbourne:  Fritsch 6, B. Brown 3, Petracca 2, Neal-Bullen 2, McDonald 2, Spargo, Brayshaw, Saprrow, Oliver, Langdon, Jackson

I buy the AFL record regularly  and I know it may sound petty, but I'm disappointed in spending $40 on a reference publication that has so many obvious proofing errors (considering they are all to do with the premiers - you would think someone would be paying closer attention).

    Obviously Saprrow (and Salem)

I cant believe he is already 27. We are much much better off without him for all reasons already stated. Add on the constant foot, soft tissue injuries and the "mental health breaks". Having one of your highest paid players doing all that is constantly draining. And at the end of the day he chose to leave and was talking to Lyon and Fyfe a long long way out. The clubs much better without him really. Yeah sure he seems like an ok guy. They almost always do when they where our jumper. I say bad luck Jesse and thanks for the subtle warning for LJ.

    +1 Wiz.

'The caravan has moved on but the dog is still barking'.

TBH his back story was so over whelming the club was happy to see him go.

(Would love to see him have a good year though).
